Bought these for my son who wears a 7, about 46lbs and these are super long and large in the waist. My son is on the smaller side but they're still too large to wear right now so I'll save them for him to grow into. Material is light and the shorts seem well made. I'm surprised since they're Children's Place, but I trust the quailty.

True to size and do not shrink. My son wears a 10 and I ordered the large. They don't shrink even a little bit so I would have been better off getting the medium but they do tie so they still fit ok. (he's 4'7" tall and 73 lbs)

My son liked that the material of these shorts are lightweight for summer. He did not like that they don't have pockets. I also noticed that they very quickly caught on things and easily pilled and pulled at various spots on the fabric. They look like they have a lot more wear than the perforated jersey material of his other Children's Place shorts that he wears more often because the other shorts have pockets.

We give clothing to kids in Title 1 schools and these athletic shorts have been a great find. They're well made basic shorts in darker colors that the kids want. What we're especially liking is the length. They aren't skimpy so the taller kids can wear them, too. Great value and good quality.

I bought these athletic shorts for my 8 year old grandson to wear to camp this summer. They were perfect. The colors are great and match all of his summer t-shirts. The material is thin and cool. Just what we wanted. I also love the length of the shorts. After washing and drying, they come out wrinkle free which I love. I buy my grandson lots of clothes but these are a favorite for both of us. I also need to tell you their customer service is great. When I first received my order, the wrong items were sent. Within days I received a replacement. No questions asked. Now that is great customer service!!! These shorts will always be at the top of my list to purchase as my grandson grows.
