I was disappointed in snack boxes before. This one is great! Packed absolutely full of lovely treats, and packed well, too. Nothing broken or crushed. A good assortment of things, salty and sweet, that I never had before. Will definitely buy from them again!

The box of snacks I received included: gummy candies, milk chocolate cookies, raspberry cream cookies, a mint candy square, a raspberry meringue, raisin cakes, Turkish delight candies, mint and lemon hard candies, a chewy nougat, a roll of currant taffy squares, and chili and Guinness flavored potato chips. Portion sizes were generous as many of the snacks contained more than one serving. My favorites were the chocolate chip cookies (very crunchy but light on chocolate chips), the vanilla and raspberry chewy nougat, which has a taffy consistency, the small black currant taffy squares, and the chili and Guinness flavored potato chips. The only one I didn’t particularly care for was the Turkish delights which were chocolate-coated jellies. My husband’s least favorite was the raisin cakes. Although the texture was flaky, he thought they were a bit oily. The mint candy square was refreshing but very sweet, so I broke off pieces to enjoy and stored the rest in the refrigerator. Note: After a few hours in the refrigerator, the mint becomes very hard. The single savory snack, the potato chips, have a mild chili flavor that was quite good. You couldn’t taste the Guinness in the chip. As for the raspberry cream cookies, the shortbread part was excellent, but the filling would be best enjoyed by someone who really likes raspberries. Overall, this is a great snack box to try, especially for anyone with affection for British sweets. All of the pieces tasted fresh, and many of the candies were without artificial dyes or flavorings. ... show more

If you are craving some goodies from the UK, than this is the ticket for you! I was lucky enough to live in the UK for three wonderful months some time ago, and I grew to love some of the local candies and delicacies. So when I discovered that there was a place to go to get a nice assortment of these things, I just had to try it. This is what my package contained: One 5.8 ounce package of Norfolk Manor wine gums (gummy candies), one 52 gram roll of Maynards Bassetts wine gums, two 51 gram packages of Fry's Turkish delight, one 35 gram of Barratt's chewy cherry flavored nougat bar (delicious!), one 30 gram package of Cloetta's blackcurrent flavored Chewits, one 42 gram/1.5 ounce package of Burt's potato chips/crisps Guinness rich chili flavored, one 160 gram package of Bakehouse milk chocolate chunk cookies, one 150 gram package of Bolands brand raspberry cream biscuit/cookies, one package (no weight given) of Lancashire Eccles cake/biscuits, one 85 gram/3 ounce Romney's brand Kendal mint cake, four Maynard Bassetts Murray mints, three Outfield brand glucose barley candies. I am slowly making my way through these delightful items, I'm trying to make them last as long as possible. But when I decide I need another fix of UK delicacies, then it is so nice to know that these packages are available on Amazon. ... show more

Before I got it, and looking at the pictures I was most excited to get the milk chocolate chunk cookies. They looked yummy, but I didn't have that in mine :( And my Eccles cakes were very very smushed. But there are some snacks in there the catch bar with caramel and crisped rice yummy!. I got some fruit snacks that are not pictured called randoms, which look good. And some twiglets. I got fox's candy bars instead of penguin candy bars. I also got fruit gums instead of wine gums. So there is a bit of changing from what you see in the picture it shows. But it is a lot of neat snacks that I have never tried before and excited to try. The ones I have tried so far, are really good and I can't wait to try them all. Is it worth $40, I am not sure, everything has been going up lately and you do get a bunch of snacks in here. ... show more

    • Great variety of international sweet and salty treats
This was a great box of snacks that my family and I enjoyed sampling! Having never been outside of the US, we often try international foods and trends. There was a variety of sugary snacks, cakes, and cookies as well as some salty snacks to boot! All of the items were fresh and in tact (not smashed, mashed, chipped, or broken). Honestly, while they were not "bad" by any means, they just did not fall into our idea of American so not a fan of most. The taffy was probably the favorite of all the items, with the chips being a close second. Would definitely recommend if you want a great variety of international treats in one package. ... show more

All of the items shown in the picture were included, along with a couple of additional ones not shown - and I was really happy to find that we got more than expected. Everything tasted fresh and was packaged very securely with no crumbled or crushed contents. One thing to note is that the vast majority of items are sweet, so this works well as a special dessert sampler. It isn't cheap, but compared to what you'd pay if you bought the items individually at a specialty grocer or gift shop it's still reasonable. ... show more

Not all of the snacks actually came from UK or Scotland (isn't Scotland part of UK?), unless Trinidad and Tobago is somehow part of UK. I am sure they would be pleasantly (or maybe not) surprised. All, except for loose hard candy have full ingredient lists with allergens listed and best by dates (several months in advance) It was interesting to try the candy. Definitely different from the usual American sweets. ... show more
