This book is a great introduction to guitar playing. It covers all the basics in a clear way. The second part on playing your favorite song, was a little less so. It wasn't bad. Again, it was clear and it cover the basics. However, I was hoping for more. Overall, a good guitar book.

This book has to be one of the most thorough electric guitar instructional publications available. I'm blown away by how well-organized it is and how much work must have gone into it. As a side note, although this instructional manual is best suited for electric guitar, an acoustic guitarist could learn a lot from it too... especially if they intend to try electric guitar someday. ... show more
