Great for fly tyers!
These are perfect to hold fly tying chenille! Some fly tying materials will randomly be sold without a card to hold the material which makes them cumbersome to tie with. These simple spools hold a full baggie of medium and smaller chenille and make it easier to manipulate when at the vise. Work great, hold the cords in place
These work great! I appreciate the quality of this product, they were flexible yet sturdy. They held the cold in place without slipping while I made kumihimo cords. I did use DMC floss and I had not issues with them holding.

Wish I found these earlier
These work great. They hold about 1 bundle of embroidery floss really well. Makes it much easier for making friendship bracelets. Actually ended up buying these more than once.

I love the size of these. They are small enough when you use several while weaving they don't take up so much room. I use them for macramé, wire weaving and kumihimo. You can wind wire, hemp or rattail easily around the bobbins and keep everything from tangling. I have seen these in a larger size but I prefer the smaller size for wire weaving. I ordered 32 because of the different colors of rattail and the different kinds of wire I use. I have enough that if I don't finish what is on the bobbin I can put it aside for use again on another project. They are a must for weaving. ... show more

Great deal, fine product, and the quantity was a bonus.
I don't think I'll ever need all these, but I bought enough to share. This package was only a buck or two more than one with 1/4 as many bobbins! I use them for wire (wire wrapped jewelry) and they make the whole task so much easier!

Wonderful for kumihimo!
I've just started to learn the art of kumihimo -- Japanese cord braiding. I was struggling with using some rubber bands around embroidery floss cards but had to stop often to unwrap a length and having them tangle around each other constantly. These bobbins are fantastic! they hold a good amount and the design makes it no fuss as the cord just gradually let out a bit of cord at a time without even having to think about it! This package of 32 for such a low price is awesome! I've used bobbing out of three of the four bags and only had one that was a littie to "loose" and didn't hold onto the cord well enough. ... show more

Bobbins
I love the size of these bobbins. They are perfect to use for wire weaving with very small diameter wire like 26, 28, or 30 gauge. For me, I find the size of these bobbins to be easier to work with than the larger size; however, that may be because I have small hands. I have the larger sizes but avoid them and grab these for the majority of my projects. These small bobbins will hold plenty of wire for almost any jewelry project.
