  • Great quality and artwork!
I love how there’s shiny silver details on the cover and first and last pages. The artwork inside is printed very nicely and it was definitely worth the purchase.

  • Gift that was a huge hit
I got this as a gift for my son, and he absolutely loved it. Junji Ito is a favorite artist of his, and he didn't know about this book, surprisingly enough. We sat looking through it as he told me about the pictures and the artist; you know it's a hit if he wants to spend time talking about each page! ... show more

  • My new favorite art book!
I recently became a fan of Junji Ito and when I found out there was a book showcasing his artwork, I immediately began searching for it. I was initially going to buy it on Hot Topic, but it sold out, and I was lucky enough to find it here on Amazon. It's definitely a larger sized book with thick pages, the artwork is stunning, and there's an interview with Ito himself towards the end of the book. I know someone posted a previous review that some pages seemed washed out, but I didn't see that issue. Certain pages actually have a special silvery finish to them that replaces the normal page color from the manga, and maybe that's why the black in doesn't stand out as much. It doesn't detract from the artwork at all, in my opinion. I highly recommend this book, it's definitely worth the price. ... show more

The original mishap was a bit of a headache but im glad that I finally got this amazing book! ... show more

  • The horror art book of your nightmares.
For those who love Junji Its work, or are just discovering their love of japanese horror. This beautifully printed hardcovers show art from Uzumaki and Tomie as well as collections of pictures from other works. This is japanese horror at its finest and the images will disturb and give nightmares to those like myself who love that. Not for the faint of heart. This is strictly art and no stories. Printed like a manga, however when read like an american novel you will discovered a Junji Ito Q&A as well as an index explaining each art piece in more detail. Really is an amazing art book. ... show more

  • Must Have for Junji Ito Fans
Bought it for my girlfriend as a gift and she really loved it. It has Art from Junji Ito most famous works (like Uzumaki and Tomie) but also a lot of his drawings, not connected to any of his mangas. Overall, a must have. 10/10

  • Enhance your home with this macabre collection
The pages have a nice feel and the art is fantastically macabre. I'd suggest reading some of his previous works (Gyo, Fragments of Horror, Lovesickness) to get a feel of what to expect for newcomers. For returning fans, it's nostalgia and grins the whole way through. Definitely worth putting on the table for guests to flip through! ... show more
