  • Great for new & advanced collectors.
Format: Paperback
I'm new at collecting coins. The Red Book has helped understand a lot about coins. I refer to this book regularly. It has information about the history of coins. It explains why & when each coin chaged designs, what to look for in flawed misprinted coins, and has great pictures to refer ti as examples. This is a great reference guide for beginners as well as advanced collectors. This is a must have guide for all coin collectors. ... show more

  • Good Reference Guide
Format: Spiral-bound
Great book even though the prices noted in the book are rather low. Suspecting that what is shown is a national average. Wish the company who puts the book out would show in photos what the different levels of grades would be. Other than that great information/reference material.

  • Great Reference!
Format: Spiral-bound
Information appears to be accurate and up to date. Photos/ illustrations are clear and well captioned. Very good descriptions / details of all US Coinage from the first coins to the most recent. Money well spent.

  • Nice book
Format: Spiral-bound
I love these books. Let's face it anyone collecting coins needs one. I don't like the layout of this edition as I did with previous years. But then again I am not good with changes. That's the only reason for 4 stars

  • EDIT. I sent small book back and got large print....now 5*****
Format: Spiral-bound
EDIT: I sent the small one back and got a LARGE print one....oh so much easier to use. I had to really search for the LARGE print on though.....yes it is bigger book.....but so much easier on the eyes!! I edited my post, I sent the small print back for $1.00. It was too hard to read for my old eyes. Smaller than before books. Bought the spiral book again. Layout is different than other books too. Wish could buy the bigger issue, that is spiral bound. I will just have to get use to the new one and hope next years is bigger print. Hate using a magnifying glass! Sucks to get old lol ... show more
