This is the best mechanical steering wheel lock that I have owned. Setting, locking and unlocking is easily done in under twenty seconds. The wide, bright yellow shaft is visible from a great distance. This discourages casual car thieves. For vehicle owners concerned about high-tech key-fob cloning and theft, this product works 100% of the time! Cloning a key fob does not stand up against a great mechanical steering wheel lock!

My neighborhood has been experiencing a rise in car theft, airbag theft, sensor theft, and wheel theft. Not only does this steering wheel lock actually secure your wheel and airbag, it’s also a great deterrent for criminals. You’re less likely to get your car broken into when they see one of these. I had a way more expensive one but it was nowhere near as good as this one. This lock is comfy, convenient, not overwhelmingly heavy and comes with 3 keys. I’ve been using it every single day since I got it and so far it’s doing it’s job wonderfully. Highly recommend.

Someone attempted to steal my car- messed up the ignition and USB- $700 later and the fact the tow truck driver and body shop said they are getting 3-5+ Kia’s a week that they are fixing due to attempted theft. They recommended getting a visible deterrent to discourage another attempt. This one was the most visible and solid looking.
