First, these are cute as can be and I’ve gotten plenty of comments on my cute boots. I exchanged the olive for the glacier blue which really standout. The footbed has tons of support and the toe box is roomy, while the heel is secure. I almost didn’t keep them because at over $100, it’s a pricey boot and they are extremely hard to get on. There is an elastic insert on each side of the ankle. I’m sure this helps the boot fit better in the heel and ankle. There is also a tab at the back to help pulling the boot on. It requires quite a bit of tugging to get the boot on. Because of the support in the footbed, the instep is high. Once on they are comfy. Wore them on a ten hour airplane trip and never had an issue. So, buy them, try them, give them a week to break in, stretch the elastic sides before putting them on, and see if you like them. They are very lightweight, have a nice 3/4” platform and do not slip when walking. ... show more

I wear a size 8.5, ordered these in a 9. Not only are they way too short and narrow, getting them on and off is painful and very difficult. Even with tiny ankles, you need help from a shoe horn to get your foot in, then to get it out, I had to have someone pull them off me! Don't buy these thinking you can just "slip" them off and on, you would have to be really dedicated to the look of these to put up with getting them on and off. No half sizes either. ... show more
