I always use a small wallet that I can carry in my front pocket. My old one was wearing out, and we were planning a month's long trip to Europe, I purchased this one for the size, and for the neck strap. Some of the places we were going were known as places where pick-pockets are known to be active, so being able to were it under my shirt was a plus. Now that we're back, it's back in my front pocket. I can't speak to the RFID blocking capabilities, as I had no way to test it.
