This is my third one of these lumbar cushions (I've left 2 on planes, cause I'm an idiot). I have lower back issues and travel a lot, and having this makes all the difference in my comfort. Despite the high cost I keep re-buying this one just because it's significantly better than the other options. The things I like most: 1) its just the right stiffness. It seems very hard at first but it adapts TO BODY TEMPERATURE so once it warms up it softens and molds to your back. It gives great support for me. 2) It's compact. I travel with tons of gear so every bit of space I can save counts and this thing slips into my backpack nicely and is smaller than other cushions I've had. One word of caution - the color is a dark blue. It's a similar shade of blue to many airplane seats. It blends in very well (which is a plus if you are not trying to advertise your back problems) but at a casual glance you may not even see it there which has resulted in me forgetting to take it with me when I leave. ... show more

    • This feels amazing, but without any straps it falls

I love the feeling and back support it gives to my mid back, but I have a steelcase leap v2 and it slips out the bottom every time I get up, I wish there was a strap or something we could get additionally to help this issue out, but it does make me mindful to sit up straight. I have also used this in my Tesla Model Y and this is where it shines since that seat has no gap in the lower part for the cushion to fall out from under. The cushion comes with a zippered washable cover and I think that's what ultimately made me choose this one, also the fact it's tempur-pedic so you know the material will be comfortable. I'm torn on whether the price is worth it, but so far if it makes my back feel better driving or sitting down for long periods of time it should be worth it! ... show more

This cushion is great for the relief of lumbar pain. It is fits my back well (I am 6 feet tall) and is not a nuisance to move from chair to chair with me. The memory foam provides firm support.

this is a must-have for daily commuting and long drives. the fact that it is not the strap-on style cushion is helpful and you can adjust it as you need and move it around. tempur-pedic is a great brand too glad they made something like this.

High quality tempur-pedic product, but be advised that the memory foam in this pillow is really, really firm. For example, it takes quite a bit of effort to make a small impression in the pillow when squeezing it. In my case it wasn't flexible enough to conform to my back w/o causing discomfort. May just be a function of my back, but I thought I'd make a note of it - it's the hardest lumbar support I've ever come across.
