This is my third one of these lumbar cushions (I've left 2 on planes, cause I'm an idiot). I have lower back issues and travel a lot, and having this makes all the difference in my comfort. Despite the high cost I keep re-buying this one just because it's significantly better than the other options. The things I like most: 1) its just the right stiffness. It seems very hard at first but it adapts TO BODY TEMPERATURE so once it warms up it softens and molds to your back. It gives great support for me. 2) It's compact. I travel with tons of gear so every bit of space I can save counts and this thing slips into my backpack nicely and is smaller than other cushions I've had. One word of caution - the color is a dark blue. It's a similar shade of blue to many airplane seats. It blends in very well (which is a plus if you are not trying to advertise your back problems) but at a casual glance you may not even see it there which has resulted in me forgetting to take it with me when I leave. ... show more

I use this in my car and for travel, it definitely helps prevent my low back pain. I accidentally left it on a plane once and immediately got a replacement. I attached a long cloth ribbon with a safety pin at each end and, when flying, I pin it to my clothing so I can't forget it again!

I love the feeling and back support it gives to my mid back, but I have a steelcase leap v2 and it slips out the bottom every time I get up, I wish there was a strap or something we could get additionally to help this issue out, but it does make me mindful to sit up straight. I have also used this in my Tesla Model Y and this is where it shines since that seat has no gap in the lower part for the cushion to fall out from under. The cushion comes with a zippered washable cover and I think that's what ultimately made me choose this one, also the fact it's tempur-pedic so you know the material will be comfortable. I'm torn on whether the price is worth it, but so far if it makes my back feel better driving or sitting down for long periods of time it should be worth it! ... show more

This came today. I was hesitant to order this due to the price, but after testing cheaper lumbar pillows I decided to get it. I'm so glad I did. I am a petite woman, 5'2" and this travel size is perfect for me. I have lumbar spine problems and have had back surgery in the past, riding in a car for long periods can be painful. I really liked how soft an older version of this same cushion was. This cushion was the perfect size for lumbar support in my car--but the foam was so uncomfortable and hard. Total disappointment--I would have bought another one if it was good. This cushion would be okay in the summer when it's hot and the memory foam is easier to mold. This cusion was ridiculously hard when it was cold in my car in the winter. Even my body heat wasn't enough to shape it comfortably--unlike my old version. I wish Tempur-pedic would be more careful with their quality of materials they use. ... show more

This has been a blessing for my back. I couldn’t get comfortable while gaming, kept having back problems. Tried a number of different pillow combos and nothing worked. This one is perfect! It fit really well and I don’t need to ever adjust it.

I have a bad lower back and drive 2 hours total each day during the work week. Quality is good the foam feels nice and dense however you're barely getting more than a pizza slice of foam for almost $80? No strap either to keep in place? What a ripoff!
