We gifted this to our granddaughter who was 18 months. It was an Easter gift but it could be for any toddler for any reason. They like that they can carry the chicken around with the eggs inside. They like matching the shapes with the colors. It was a win - win. I would recommend this product.

If you're not going to sit with the kiddos to help them find the match then it just becomes a cool chicken with eggs inside but it is quickly dimissed after opening.
