My 4-year-old daughter asked for dinosaurs and volcanoes for her birthday, and who am I to argue? This fit the bill perfectly; because of the multiple figures and the large volcano, both of my younger daughters can play together without (too much) fighting! The sound effects are surprisingly loud, and we haven't found a way to turn them down—but they do sound pretty good, for what they are. It's nothing more than a loop of the same sounds, so don't expect a ton of variety. What really got me was the steam/smoke effect. A small dropper bottle is included, but you can just as easily tip a few drops of water into the clear ring at the top. Press the button and in a few seconds, all of your elementary science fair memories start rushing back. Coupled with the sound effects, this landed some major "oohs" and "aahs" from my kiddo. Best part: All of the dinosaurs fit inside of the volcano for storage. Not as good is that the volcano is, for some reason, in two pieces—which means you have to keep track of both. Definitely recommended.

3 yr old son loves it. Well built and cool to the touch, doesn't get hot. Not messy at all. Sounds are a separate button, so you can have the volcano going silently too. Dinosaurs are cool. He's totally using his imagination creating stories about volcanos and the dinosaurs.

Smaller than expected. My kiddo is 3 1/2 yrs old. States on box ages 3+. She loves dinosaurs. She was actually scared of some of the faces. Red eyes were evil looking. I ended up coloring over them with permanent marker. Unfortunately, I believe I may have made the eyes worse. Oh well. The Dinosaurs themselves are sturdy however. So thats a plus! Trees are flimsy. Breath too hard around them, they fall over on the mat. The mat was least impressive. Is themed as a dinosaur "county fair". Happy looking background. Did not match up with the type and style of these dinosaurs. Actually, found simalar sturdy type of dinosaurs at dollar store. Maybe not all the varieties of this set but enough to make a 3 year old happy. Mat was cheap fabric material. The creases have stayed in the mat from being folded to fit the case. Case is good. Might use it for make-up.🤷♀️ I had liked this item last Christmas. So a I had a notification from Amazon that alerted me to this item being marked at discount. We paid under 20$. Wouldn't have been too happy if id bought for more.

The media could not be loaded. We have hunted for a cool volcano toy for our dino loving son and daughter for years. This volcano lights up red to simulate lava, it steams to make it look hot and it plays dinosaur roars! It. Is. AWESOME! It requires 3 double A's not included and is simple to install and turn on/off with a simple little button built into the volcano to look like rocks. I'm so glad we got this! Word to wise: there is no volume button for the dinosaur roaring sound and it is continuous if you click the button... it just keeps going until you click it off. We put a little piece of tape over the speaker that's on the bottom of the top volcano and it helped lessen the loudness. Besides the volcano itself, the mat is the next coolest part of this toy. It feels like felt... the print is painted into the fabric so it will NOT peel off from poor iron-on work! So excited about that! And it's so much bigger than I thought! So much room for at least 4-5 kids to sit and play on it! & We've already had a spill on it and we just wiped it off/ absorbed it with a towel. The dinosaurs aren't bad quality but they're pretty generic and we really didn't get it for those since dinosaur figures are everywhere. Overall, this toy is 100% worth every penny! We did get it as a black friday sale, but I would still recommend it regardless! The volcano and mat are completely worth it!
