GREAT shoes! My son needed a pair of black dress shoes just to have for special occasions so I didn't want to spend a ton of money. These arrived and are way better looking and higher quality than I expected for the price! They came quick and each shoe was individually wrapped in a bag so there was no rubbing together during shipping. They look very well made. My son says they are comfy on those occasions he needs to but doesn't want to wear them everyday. He has a slightly narrow foot and the 9.5 seems to fit perfect. Great quality shoes. Love the color and sheen. Bought for 4 groomsmen for wedding. However, i bought a size 12 and it fits like a 13. You may have issues with 8.5 - 9.5 if you have a wide foot as the shoes is a little narrow.
