This is one of the better-quality beginner's-type telescopes that I have seen and used. It has everything one would need to see the moon, and some other planets. Do not expect the images to be seen perfectly though. You won't be able to see Saturn's rings close up in other words. It is a beginner's telescope. The set up is fairly simple, but for a beginner's telescope, I really think some more direction on how to use it would be helpful. They do have a tiny bit of info on which lens to use for what, but even that could be better explained. Again, this is a beginner telescope, so it should be assumed that the user doesn't have any experience with telescopes and should include better instruction in that regard. That said, (and I do have telescope experience) we were able to set it up and look at the sky, got a great view of the moon, and some other starts and things. We are still using it and it is working great.

I have always loved studding the night sky but I have never been able to use a telescope. This one seemed perfect for me since it was listed as a beginner. My daughter wanted to try it out as well and I’m very happy on how it’s working out. We can get a clear view on the sky with this simple telescope. The view is so clear and easy to see. This telescope was also simple to put together making it perfect to take in and out of my house. My daughter insisted on having it in her room, and I’m glad I’ve accepted. She’s been very happy with this telescope. It is great for beginners like us!

I got this for my younger children and husband who love going out and looking at the stars. It was super simple to put together and even easier for my kids to use. I have four children age range from 10-2 and they all were able to use this telescope and look at the moon with ease. It is cheaper made but for the price it's good quality!

It was easy to set up, simple enough to navigate using, and has useful storage bag for the extra lenses.The use of the phone attachment was a little simpler or came with a thorough troubleshooting as it was confusing. Still trying to learn it. But for this homeschooling mom, it’s a great investment!
