  • Perfect for the amateur astronomers in your life!
Color: Cyan
Perfect for stargazing. What's not to love? It's a great size, portable and it's also perfect for traveling. Although it's not a scientific telescope it's pretty darn close as the lenses make everything look up close and clear. I highly recommend it for the amateur astronomers in your life.

  • Definitely worth the price for the quality you get.
Color: White
I got this telescope mainly for my kids, but honestly, it’s good enough that I’ve been using it too. The size is larger than I expected, which actually makes it feel sturdy and more professional. The image quality is really clear, we could easily see the craters on the moon and even get a decent look at some planets. The setup was simple, and the tripod feels stable, not flimsy like some cheaper ones I’ve tried before. It’s a great telescope for both beginners and adults who want something easy to use but still powerful enough to enjoy stargazing. Definitely worth the price for the quality you get. ... show more

  • Lens glass not good
Color: White
Overall not a very good quality. Eyepieces were like looking through a fish bowl. Nothing was very stable. Price seemed reasonable for something that wouldn't be used a lot. Ultimately returned this one and paid more for a more reputable scope. This was a prime deal for $80. Decent scopes run from $150 to $200. Stay in that price range. This scope was a total disappointment. ... show more

  • Nice beginner telescope
Color: White
My husband wanted a telescope to try out a new hobby in retirement without a huge initial investment. He wanted to start with a very basic setup just to see if he really enjoys it. This telescope is perfect for a beginner. It is not a toy. It really does work. It is a beginner telescope but it is plenty powerful for getting a pretty clear view of the moon and closer planets. The size and light weight makes it easy to move around. It came most assembled and was quick and easy to set up. He's enjoying his new hobby. ... show more

  • THIS IS OUR NEW FAVORITE THING TO DO~!~
Color: White
Well, first of all, let me say this is no child's toy~! We have a children's telescope that we bought a while back. Paid a ridiculous amount of money for it, and this one makes that older one look like a joke~! What I liked the most about it is that a Baby Boomer and a GenX can go outside and operate it without a 1st grader telling us how...Well, except for the cell phone part, where you can map the stars and instantly know what you are looking at. Anyways, we had to get the kids to help with that (so embarrassing), but it is, for the most part, plug-and-play, user-friendly~! I am impressed with the quality. It's shocking how well you can see. We had more clouds than we wanted for an ideal night for star gazing, but it was so much fun~! All the kids were super engaged and intrigued with the whole event. We had a bonfire, grilled some dogs, and made a night of it. As far as the value, it is priceless IMO to spend quality family time, learning new things, and making memories. You can't put a price on that. ... show more

  • Convenient carry and deploy, light, no frills, cheap build
Color: White
Lets start from opening the box. The entire kit comes inside a light duty backpack which I find very convenient. While the telescope components have their places in the backpack, there is still plenty of room and pockets for more accessories. Assembling the telescope is very basic. Simply put the feet on the tripod and deploy it, put the head on the tripod and then mount the telescope. Once assembled simply extend the end of the scope and choose your viewing lens and adapters, as well as mount the spotting scope. On the topic of the tripod, it is a very cheaply built no frills tripod. It just works, but it is far from being a good tripod becasue the the extremely cheap build quality. That said, it is very light and easy to use. When putting the tripod up you can just leave the feet on. Once out of the box, you don't have to mess with them again. The telescope mount is very very basic. Easy to use yes, however it is weak and very prone to additional movement. Don't expect a lot from this one. Still, it keeps the weight down and with patience you can overcome the weakpoints of it. The telescope itself is a mixed bag here, but all in all, I am pleased with this beginner scope for the size and clarity from edge to edge of the image. The main issue I have encountered is the focusing mechanism isn't the smoothest, but it got progressively better as I waorked it. The focus mechanism worked fine enough to get a good focus fairly easy. The spotting scope.... did they even try? The spotting scope I received has a number of problems. It is difficult to aim and tighten in to place, plus you would have to adjust it every single use. The crosshairs are warped and not even close to center, and this spotting scope requires its own manual focusing. I don't mind the manual focusing, but the design here could have been 10 times better and still been cheap and light. With time you would adapt to its quirkyness. The included adapters and lenses, I am rather pleased with. the 10mm and 25mm main objective lenses are a great choice for beginners, and I liked the image I was getting through them. The terrestrial adapter worked like it was supposed to and the 3x barlow did a good job with both main lenses. The phone adapter is not great, and you have to be careful not to overtighten it on your phone or you might break the adapter. Still, it was able to handle my heavy S22 Ultra. It takes some patience to adapt it to your phone, especially if your phone has different cameras. The whole setup is very delicate, but give it a chance to settle and you can get some really good pictures. I have included a terrestrial one, but as of yet I do not have a good planet in the sky to aim this at. I find that the chromatic aberation distortion is above average average for this level of telescope quality which is a nice surprise, but the spotting scope aberation is horrid, which is common for this level of quality. I am honestly expecting a good image of Jupiter and the like. I used to get suprising images with details from a much smaller more toyish telescope than this, but make no mistake, this may be a lightweight no frills scope, but I would not call it a toy at this image quality. In the end, it would be great scope to take camping or hiking as the whole kit in the backpack does not weigh much, but it still has enough weight to warrant scrutiny if going on a long hike. My advice is to change out the spotting scope with a better one, and get a better phone adapter for ease of operation, but as is, I am actually eager to do some planetary photography with my phone with it. It may not be as good of quality as some of my other telescopes, but the convenience of a refractor in an easy to deploy kit is worth a lot to me. ... show more

  • Portable and Well-Equipped – A Great Gift for Budding Astronomers!
Color: White
I haven’t had a chance to fully test this telescope under the stars yet due to cloudy weather, but I'm very impressed with the overall quality and features. The 90mm aperture should provide excellent views, and the included eyepieces and Barlow lens offer plenty of magnification options. What really stands out is how portable it is! The adjustable tripod is sturdy, and the backpack-style carrying case makes it easy to take on stargazing adventures. The smartphone adapter is a nice touch for astrophotography. This telescope would make an amazing gift for kids or adults who are just starting out in astronomy. It’s well-equipped, easy to assemble, and feels like it will hold up well over time. I'm looking forward to clear skies so I can finally put it through its paces! ... show more
