    • Good General Purpose Telescope
Color: 80800white
I bought this telescope as a gift for my son to use not only for star gazing but also for watching the marine activities at the port his house overlooks. After having it for slightly over a month, I can say that it works well for both of these purposes, and I am pleased with the purchase. The telescope was well packaged when delivered and was easy to assemble. It is easily portable using the bag that came with the telescope. From my perspective it was worth the purchase price! ... show more

    • Great price for the quality
Color: 80800white
The whole family loves to look at the night sky and look out over the bay during the day. Not top of the line...but then the price reflects that.

    • Cheap tripod, mediocre optics
Color: 80800white
If this is going to end up being a functional telescope I will need to invest in another tripod. What is included is junk, cheap plastic. When you get aligned with what you are trying trying to look at and tighten it down the telescope drops an inch or two and you lose the image. Ive been a photographer for 40 years and know how to use tripods. This is horrible. The big problem is the item is listed for children, which this was a gift for a child but im having issues so there is no way a child will get this aligned. All this will do is frustrate a child and they will lose interest. Also not impressed with the optics that are included, my phone is getting better images. I would return if I could. It will be a dust collector within a month. I would recommend avoiding this and buying a higher quality model because quality doesn't live here. ... show more
