I purchased this telescope after reading the great reviews. It was nice how easy it was to setup. We misplaced the instructions and they emailed us a new one. We have used it to both look at terrain and also up in the sky. Having the ability for it to hold your phone is a great feature. I wasn't sure how to use the remote to take a picture but I was able to find that with a quick Google Search. You just hit the button to put it into pairing mode and connect it using Bluetooth. This is a nice beginner telescope. It comes with a travel bag and I use it for camping. The main tube and tripod are held in place with straps but all the other items are left to rattle around so I recommend adding a small bag for the lenses, etc. The finder scope can be a little fussy but setup takes 5 minutes or less. This is perfect for a hobby. Just wanted something to start looking at the night sky. It's a bit hard to line up the site and telescope without any tall buildings...had to utube how to do that....but good for the price point.
