I was able to put this together pretty easily although I did check for some online videos to clarify some of the part names (a few parts are called different things). I was disappointed that this telescope did not come with a bag because that was why I picked this one. I saw another reviewer said the same thing, but I found a nice lightly padded bag to put the telescope in and I'm happy with that purchase. For my beginner self, this was a good purchase. I can see the moon pretty clearly and it did what I thought it would, and I like that I can disassemble it quickly and take it on a trip. I would warn people that are trying to take photos with their phones to not move your phone around once you get it situated in the slot because it can scratch your lens like it did mine. My Galaxy S20+ was too heavy and started slipping out of place, and I wiggled it around too much to get the right alignment again and I won't do that again. Overall, a good buy for the price.

When I bought this telescope, I could not find any images of what it capable of. So here is my review. It has different lens 20mm, 10mm, 6mm and barlow (which gives even more magnification but I was not able to make smartphone photos with it). Working with 10mm was easy 6mm gives much better magnification but it much harder to point at something (even after changing the tripod to better one) barlow lens practical was impossible to use with smartphone since it was bendeded under smartphone weight. I was able to see with barlow but it was too faint and unable to point to something specific as it moved too much. So here are images of bridge which is 13km (8miles) away. You can actually see the cars).

Even when you tighten all the adjustment knobs, it still moves. Thought we would be able to just look at the moon in detail maybe even see mars or venus if we got lucky. No. We cant even look at the moon without this thing pulling against the position we set.
