When it comes to telescopes I have no clue! Luckily this one is easy to figure out! I bought it to view this past eclipse and even though we didn't get it zoomed in correctly my daughter was able to capture great video footage of it using the phone adapter. I've been able to view Venus. So all in all it's worth it for amateurs and kids! ... show more

tested 4 telescopes in this price $50-100. this has the best packaging, solid construction on telescope with clearest lens so far. plus U can use a camera tripod for adults for standing and higher viewing so it is not discomfort on your NECK and eyes. and phone adapter was the only 1 that works with new phone because of where the power button is at. love the look. will post pic later. also I took an old dog bone jag which is the same size as the scope front cover to capture more light from the stars or moon. works great. very happy now after 4 test. ... show more

We used this at the Headlands Dark Park in Michigan. Easy to set up, easy to use! We saw defined full moon, Saturn’s rings & a few other things in the sky. We will be using again in further trips. Worth the buy for sure.
