I found the reviews for this costume to be cryptic because the reviews for all of the sizes were mixed together, and few people specified what size costume they were commenting on. So, I hope this is helpful... The size I bought says "for 1-2 years," but it also says "toddler size 2-4." This is very confusing since we all know a toddler 2-4 usually fits a 2-4-year-old. The amazon page lists the size as 1-2 years, so I thought the people commenting on the toddler 2-4 were talking about a totally different costume, especially since my other son's Batman costume is a toddler 2-4 and fits him nicely. He is three and a half. Little did I know, this company thinks a one-year-old can fit in a 4T. Bottom line: The Robin 1-2 year costume is NOT a toddler size 2-4; it is close to an 18-month size, as others have noted. It fits my 15-month-old perfectly now (who is only in the 50th percentile for height), one month before Halloween. I hope it will work. I am happy with the quality of the costume. It is a thick felt material. It's very cute on my son. The Velcro openings on the legs seem super convenient for diaper changing. Definitely a good costume for the money, once I got the sizing all figured out.

My 4 month old was in the 96th percentile as of this past October. He was wearing 6-9 mos clothes already and I can't imagine him as an actual "newborn" (the listed size) wearing this! It was workable but because of how baggy the outfit was we had to keep flattening the image on him to take pictures and show people the costume. The face mask, while adorable, scared him so we didn't bother with it too much. The material of this costume is a heavier polyester blend with the images embroidered on. It is durable and thick, which was perfect as it was chilly and windy the night we went trick or treating. Not that I wouldn't have purchased this product had I known more about the sizing, but the company needs to be more specific other than "newborn" as a standard size. I'm quite sure at one year old my son might be able to squeeze into this (he's 6 months now).

For the price, this was a great deal for Halloween. It's very similar quality to those cheap costumes you get at your local grocery store. The material feels like felt and would probably not hold up well in the wash. The mask was way to tight for my 7 month old's head... so if your child has a larger sized head, I would not recommend you try putting on the mask. It was so tight that my poor baby couldn't even open his eyes. My 3 month old son LOVES this costume. We purchased it for Halloween, but it has become his favorite PJs! Super warm and soft. The mask was too tight for him, but he was born with a larger head (14cm). Easily remedied with some black ribbon to replace the elastic band, felt, and hot glue. Tag was also large, so we cut it out. The thread has started to unravel at the leg, but that's after 4 washings and lots of wear. (I don't expect much quality stitiching from these type of costumes). It was also tight around his neck due to a good size double chin, but the velcro position on the costume makes it easy to not velcro that part and simply put the cape on. We will be looking for more costumes to use as PJs as he is so happy in it and looks adorable. :)

I ordered a 12-24 month for my two year old. It’s made completely of felt and has Velcro for snaps. Goes on like a onesie. It fit him very well I was worried it would be too small but there’s room for him to wear clothes under it if he needs too. Lost one star because the mask is very small. I can fix it with some elastic but it is what It is.

My son was Robin for Halloween and my 8 year old daughter was Bat girl. They looked so cute! The quality of the material was okay, kind of like cheap felt. The eye piece didn't fit my son, he has a big head, so I had to cut the elastic and tie a string back on it. He only wore it for a few hours so that was okay, I guess. My son was 8 months old and around 20 lbs when I ordered this. We got the 6-12 months and it fit perfectly. Just keep that in mind when ordering your size. I would order this again. My little Bat Girl and Robin made for great pictures and we got a lot of compliments.

Cute costume that was perfect for our 2 year old with room to grow. I don't expect the best quality from Halloween costumes but I was pleased with the quality of this one... except for the mask. It was painfully and ridiculously small. Thankfully, we had been gifted a super-hero type face mask from another set that we were able to swap out, but my toddler was literally in tears as we tried to put this mask on him. The elastic band was comically short. Seriously, make it longer and people can just tie it shorter if they need to.

purchased this costume in size 0-6 months (newborn) and it fit my 2 month old son perfectly. a little snug around the neck if i try putting the velcros together but if i leave the top two undone it is a perfect fit, also a bit snug on the legs. the mask does not fit at all but it's okay i don't really need it. The material is like pajamas but i mainly wanted this costume so my sons could match since my 2 year old is goig to be batman and i would like to take pictures. most likely i will need to put pants on him underneath because the velcro seems like it will bother my son if he is just in a onesie. very happy tho, serves it purpose.
