Beautiful color, definitely rose gold. BUT This product does not weed at all. The adhesive removes from the foil thus becoming not sticky. It rips easily. Not good for small lettering. Also does not stick very well with small letters. Don't believe those instagram videos of processing. This does not peel away from the paper without taking the whole decal with it. I have tried many different settings on the cricut to try to help this and nothing has worked ... show more

First off, I'm writing this review from a vinyl wrap view point, not from the Arts & Craft Cricut perspective... As far as adhesion, malleability, and finish are concerned, this vinyl is FANTASTIC if you know what you're doing. NOTE: If this is your first time wrapping something, I would avoid chrome finished wraps as they can be a bit temperamental and finicky. COLOR NOTES: This is definitely a charcoal or black chrome finish. When I asked the question, I was told its silver chrome, but it's not. It's DARK GRAY chrome--almost black but not quite THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND AS YOU WORK WITH THIS STUFF: (My Vinyl Wrap Exp Level: Very Picky Dabbler) 1. This film is VERY heat sensitive... Like less than a second kind of reactive. (RE: heat gun, not hair dryer) 2. This film is VERY elastic, so you shouldn't really "need" to use heat much at all. I only used heat to flatten out a some pinch/creases as a finishing step. I was able to 180 degree stretch the inside turn of a 1.75" wide x 2mm thick ring with ease 3. The dry adhesion level on this stuff is VERY HIGH, meaning once it touches your surface, it's stuck there. Obviously if you use a wetting agent, you'll be able to move it around 4. YOU MUST REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE LAYER *BEFORE* TRYING TO MOLD OVER CREASES!!! Once removed this stuff is a dream to mold and shape. Any reviewers saying this stuff is hard to shape obviously didn't remove the protective film first 5. Chrome finish scratches easily, so USE A SOFT MICROFIBER CLOTH as you work the vinyl 6. While you *can* dry peel the stuff back and reapply, I noticed this mars the finish slightly. It's subtle, but up close you'll notice the finish develops streaks / stretch marks where you pulled it back. BOTTOM LINE: This is an EXCELLENT high quality dark gray chrome wrap for people with a bit of experience. I would ALSO recommend you buy an extra roll in case you need to redo some spots. It's slightly temperamental stuff that takes a few rounds to get get the feel for. My first item wrapped very easily, but I'm also very picky and needed to redo the second piece wrapped 2 times to get a perfect finish. ... show more

    • Reverse weeding required for fine detail work.
This vinyl is very pretty, good adhesion so far, and just metallic enough without being a pink mirror. My first project with it had large shapes and I was like... why did all these people have issues? Then I decide to cut this font with super thin tails. The big pieces weed easily enough but every time I get near the thin stuff it stretched beyond recognition and broke. Then I remembered the reverse weeding trick. (Google this!) My cut came out perfectly and behold, I have a very happy customer. Would buy again now that I know! ... show more

I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I purchased this to make my bridesmaids boxes. This is the most worse vinyl I have ever used. It does NOT WEED. I have a brand new blade, I tried about 5 different settings, 5 different test projects to get ANYTHING to work and everything has failed. I basically wasted $12 on trash. I am literally so upset it's not even funny. Its really pretty much useless. I never give bad reviews ever. I read the reviews here and was excited to get this. Idk what machine/settings everyone is using. I have a Cricut Maker, the premium fine point blade, I tried the foil setting with more pressure, I tried the metallic with more pressure, I tried the premium Vinyl setting more pressure and premium out door setting NOTHING has worked with this. I removed the plastic like its stated in the directions. Im just pissed. ... show more

I read so many negative reviews, I was skeptical about purchasing but my brother wanted a chrome memorial decal for his car window, so I ordered it anyway. I was shocked at the quality and thickness. I was expecting some thin, aluminum foil type vinyl...but no...this stuff is like the heavy duty foil that you put on a grill that doesn't tear easily. I followed directions and DIDN'T remove the clear plastic covering before cutting (said it was supposed to help with transferring) and that was a no-no. I had to cut half of the decal again WITHOUT the clear plastic sheet and it cut perfect. So, if you are looking for some chrome vinyl, i highly recommend this particular one...just make sure you take the clear plastic sheeting off of it before you cut because it will not cut completely and you will end up where i did. I am pleased with the finished product! ... show more

Most metallic, chrome, or silver "vinyl" is usually some sort of foil, which means even though it's got a great shine, it's rigid and unforgiving and therefore doesn't stretch or fit curved surfaces very well, and tears easy. Not this stuff! This is actually chrome silver vinyl! I was immediately surprised when I peeled a cut piece off to feel that it has the same pliable, stretchy properties as normal adhesive vinyl. It sticks really well, forms well to complex shapes, has a great shine, and even has a layer of clear protective film on it! Definitely recommended! ... show more
