Assembly is not too terrible. Took me three hours on my own (even though it says it’s a two person job, one adult can get it done easily). The instructions are actually super clear and helpful and so are the illustrations. The desk itself is beautiful. My one complaint is the drawers. The drawers are smaller inside than what they seem but can fit a good amount because of the space gap in between each drawer. If that makes sense :) ... show more

It’s a nice desk. It took my husband about 2.5 hours to completely assemble. No major assembly issues. It’s a pretty solid desk. I needed an L shape desk as I have 2 large monitors and I also needed space for my laptop along with writing space. The reason for the 4 stars: the drawers aren’t as deep as shown in the picture. I can probably put some thin pieces of wood on the sides, but I hate to spend more money. Other than that-so far it’s a nice desk. The sand color is really pretty. ... show more

Worth the money!! My boyfriend built most of it on his own, which took about 2 hours. He was also caught up watching Game of Thrones though, so that may have slowed him down 😂 There were definitely a few parts where having two people made things easier, but that’s the case with building most things. I would definitely recommend having your own drill! They do supply the little tools you need, but it’ll take twice as long and you’ll be twice as tired using them 😂 Overall, I’m really happy with it! ... show more

This is almost like two desks in one which is perfect for me. I work from home and do PC gaming but I also has a pretty extensive beauty routine, and its nice to not have to use the same space for my nice computer setup and my nail polish/makeup/various other things that are sticky and stain-y. Building phase: Any able-bodied beginner should be able to build this alone. The instructions say you need two people but I think that must be just for liability reasons because I easily built this by myself and I'm not strong. There is one step where you lift the wooden desk pieces onto the metal frame but the large ones really can't weigh more than about 20 lbs apiece. Out of the box, it might look overwhelming and complicated to build but if you follow step by step and don't get creative, or try to do it in a hurry, you'll be absolutely fine. I especially appreciate the screw-locking mechanism that makes the drawers perfectly flush with each other, that was kind of magical Note: it says you need a hammer for the dowels but I just used the heel of my hand to bop them in and it was fine. One recommendation, if you don't have a drill, wear gloves with some grip or you might get blisters from the amount of hand-screwing. ... show more

Very nice desk! Although I had to improvise and wasn't able to fit the entire desk in the space I had, it works well. I was able to assemble it alone and instructions were pretty straightforward. Worth what I paid for!
