    • Looking good on the outside but really bad inside

These bars are designed to run wiring inside. There is no dimple to run them outside as an alternative so there is no choice. The problems are that a) the top part is not bent but welded on at a sharp angle, which makes routing wires more difficult and b) there are razor-sharp edges inside that will cut through the wire insulation and cause short circuits and other damage. This could be avoided if the pieces were deburred properly before welding but I guess that costs extra money. I tried to work it with a solid pull wire and some silicone spray on the outside of the wire loom. The sharp edges cut right through the outside of the loom. Fortunately it didn't cut through all the way but there was visible damage on some wires. Tempted by the relatively low price I bought two of these, one in black and the other one chrome plated. Both had the same issue so I decided to not use them and cannot recommend these to anyone. You get what you pay for - lesson learned. ... show more

Everything works as it should however there are no reliefs for hand control wires... with some fabrication you can make them work as i did. Was no point in calling for return as i was already half way through swap before i noticed this... oh and the wires a pain to pull through this design so prepare for some time and a bit of a battle. ... show more

    • These are to wide for streetglides, and they are not 12 they are 10.5.

My only issue was that where they had notched the right hand side (assuming this is done for a throttle by wire, which mine does not have)had flared out probably because of the heat warping the steel while it was cut, this was solved with some love taps from a hammer . I am welder/fabricator by trade and am honestly surprised that the work is decent in comparison to the price. Just be aware that you may encounter new issues that may have you reworking the part a bit, this is okay with me because comparable bars would be 2-3× the price of these. ... show more

I put these on my 2021 Limited. Good height and good angles. Pros: They are robust! The welds and finish are good - too good actually. Color (black) is true and not purpleish. Gussets serve as a great place to mount non-conventional phone holders and such. cons: The finish is very thick and makes the throttle assembly stick a bit. Also the bottom slots need extended so that your internal wires don't get pinched. If you but them, be ready to remove the finish on the inside and outside of the end of the bar for everything to fit right. ... show more

Decent bars for the money. Don't be afraid of the mitered cuts for internal wires. I have fly by wire throttle control. Use a string with a small weighted object to get the string from one end to the other. Tie the wires with the string as narrow as possible. Here's the secret. Use a good amount of dielectric grease where you joined the string and wire. You'll feel the mitered place as the string will stop. Pull the string gently but firmly while pushing the wire at the same time. It will slide right through. ... show more

Apes fit nice, i gave up on trying to get the cables. Now I have a really nice 14inch ape hanger sitting in my garage along with 2 clutch cables two throttle cables two idle cables,my order of cables were never delivered right! It was supposed to be a very simple ordeal, all I asked for was 8 inches longer than o.e and never could receive the right part. Apes are great, they look awesome on my harley. ... show more

Happy with overall fit and function or the bars, for 104 dollars they outperform my friends 275 dollar bars. Definatly worth the investment. They look great and were not hard to internally wire.
