Needed a gap wedge and this 54 fit the bill. Comes off club nice and has nice feel. Even use it for shorter shots for added control.

My 54 degree arrived with a small ding on the back of the sole. What is more concerning to me is the differences between this 54 degree wedge and the 58 degree I previously purchased. The back of the clubs differ slightly. My 58 has milled lines around the text, that is missing on the 54 I received, but the biggest disappoint is the 54 degree doesn't have the mill textured face this is present on my 58 degree and all high quality modern wedges. I believe these clubs are factory seconds not intended for the market. Incomplete club heads that were rejected for quality reasons. I expected the price decrease was due to the new version hitting the market not due to the poor quality of the club. Very dissatisfied!! The dynamic gold is at least as expected. Bought great quality for a great price but only got the shaft!! ... show more

Delivered with damaged shaft. Was going to return but note stated check with Mfg first. Contacted TaylorMade to have shaft repaired. Took it to Dick's and now it's back to New condition.
