I love this wedge. Some say is a luxury club, but what's so luxurious about wanting to hit your ball right? The club head has a very nice weight to it and feels like it helps you get under the ball to pop it up more easily. The spin you can get from this thing is pretty incredible and has really improved my game from 75 yards in. The club face will rust, but it's suppose to to give you more grip to grab the ball with. This club has become one of my favorite wedges but the thing is, I didn't know the club was gonna have a RAW face. At first, I was mad about it because I don't know how I feel about the rusted club look. But my worries were unwarranted because I thought the face was gonna rust after a few weeks. But I've had the club for about a month and as long as you clean the face, the rust look takes longer to show. The quality is there because taylormade clubs are always high quality. After opening the box, the first thing that I thought was how beautifully made the wedge seems to be. From the balanced shaft to toe, to the slight flex in the strong metal, it's great. I noticed what looked to be some machining marks on the bottom of the wedge but after more research into this particular model, I found that is absolutely intentional and on purpose as these are given a lot of care and personal attention to each one and the process is repeatable/helps to make sure each club is consistently high quality. From swinging this to hitting some balls at a place near me, this is a great and very versatile wedge. The length is perfect for me (I'm about right at 6 feet) and it feels great when I swing it. I'm able to take as much or as little dirt/grass from under my shot as I need to and the distance and elevation that I get is superb. I've handled a good number of golf clubs in my day but this one is something else, in a very good way. I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend this to someone where the MSRP was no concern.
