These work great for small amount items. I have put honey in them, in my lunch box. No problem. But depending how much the lunch box gets tossed around will depend on the outcome. The lid is pretty secure. With dry food items I have had no problems.

However, they arrived late. Not the sellers fault I'm sure. But I ordered on prime 2 days ahead, and they arrived a day late. I needed them for an event. They look great, exactly what I needed at the time. I will use them hopefully sometime in the future.
