I’ve purchased pants from Tapata 3-4 times now, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how insulting the price is; I feel taken advantage of everytime I fold and purchase another pair for $42. Supply & demand. I get it. But come on now. Call me cheap but that’s a lot to ask for a pair of pants. But anyway, over time, I’ve gained weight (thank you birth control), so being thick (and wanting to ensure that the pants were loose enough, because a woman with a booty can be easily deemed as inappropriate and/or unprofessional in any work environment), the last pair I purchased were the XXL (either long or tall). Big sistas, let me warn you that if you’ve purchased different sizes from Tapata, like I have had to over time, you’ll instantly notice that the material they use on the XXL vs the material used on the XL and below is thinner and stretchier…which is supposed to be a good thing, but I don’t care for the material in the XXL at all. But the cherry on top is that these pants were highwaters, y’all! I have booty, hips, and thighs (ALL things that should’ve been considered when making the pants for a taller, thicker woman) but it’s almost like they made them expecting us to decide whether we cared more about how loose/tight they are, or how long they are. It was give and take. I WILL say although they were high waters right out of the packaging, they were atleast somewhat passable if I didn’t mind sagging just a little. But keep in mind, I noted that the material is stretchier on a XXL, and clothing being stretchy typically also means shrinking in the washer/dryer, over time. (I don’t put these in the dryer, but they’ve definitely still gotten shorter) So, I’ve been wearing them as capris for a while now (which probably isn’t much better than just wearing them as the highwaters they are. Lol). I just wanted to give yall all the info. Something to think about.

Very comfy pants to spend a work day in. They’re a little more high rise than I’d like, but I still need a belt. The butt and waist gets a little stretched out and baggy by the end of the day which makes the seams of the fake back pockets noticeable especially if you have to tuck in your shirt, but I don’t have much booty and most pants are baggy in back on me. Front pockets are great and deep. Material is breathable but will probably be too thin for winter. Small tall was a good choice for me, about 5 10 and 135 lbs. I’d love to try to shrink the butt but don’t wanna risk losing any length. It’s so hard finding pants when you’re all legs, I don’t absolutely love them but they’ll do.

I liked how the pants fit. I am 5' 8" and normally wear a size 8/10 bottoms. I sized up for these and ordered a large. They were very comfortable, but if they stretched at all they would've been too baggy. Althpugh it was nice to have "real" pockets in the front, I did not like where they were, and the pockets gaped open when I walked. I am returning them; the main reason being I am not a fan of the material. They're not scratchy or uncomfortable, I personally didn't like the look of the material.

I ordered these in white in a size Large. They are very nice. The fabric is decent, not see-through. Nicely tapered leg, but not 'skinny'. According to the size chart, I ordered the large, but needed to order the XL for sure. Size up, if you're not sure. These came wrinkle-free, even after being folded in a bag during shipping. Recommend giving these slacks serious consideration 👍.
