I ordered the TAILONG Men Compression Shirt/Tank Top primarily for back support to wear while I play sports (soccer, mainly). I have moderate scoliosis and have a spine that curves to the side. As a result, I have suffered from varous degrees of back pain throughout most of my adolescent and adult life. I've always been caught up in that vicious cycle of 'take off the weight to ease the pressure off the back and knees,' but when you put on weight you experience so much pain so you can't exercise and then you put on even more weight, etc, etc. Plus, I work long hours and end up eating late in spite of my best (sporadic) efforts. Plus, I hate exercising. I'm one of those who much prefers to play sports (soccer and table tennis/ping pong mostly) rather than go to the gym, lift weights, or even jogging. I need help with current, ongoing bouts of back pain and of course I'm interested in preventing future episodes of back pain. I've often wondered if compression tops would help and I've tried quite a few. One of the things I've realized with compression tops is that the quality a brand starts off with is very rarely maintained, especially the quality of the material used, or the product is discontinued so you can't buy it anymore. The TAILONG Men Compression Shirt really helps with my back pain and my posture. I am very happy with it. It took some time to put it on the first couple times because of the hooks and I simply wasn't accustomed to it but you work out a system pretty quickly (I start by hooking the bottom first then moving up, then fxing the zipper at the bottom and sliding it up). The material is very good quality and the size chart is pretty adequate. If anything, order a size larger than you normally would, the adjustment hooks on the inside of the top should compensate with regard to comfort. The slimming effect is seconday for me, but it works very well in that department as well. Also, please understand I'm not recommendding this as a weight-lifting accessory, simply as a antastic compression type top/vest. Great customer service from the seller too! ... show more

This review is not a review of the quality of the vest because I have not worn it. My comment is on the sizing. I am 6 foot 4 inches and weigh about 260. I normally wear a 2XLT and I bought this in a 3XL. The vest does not even come close to fitting. It is way to small. The companies customer server is very responsive and really want to assist me with correcting this issue that is why I changed my rating to 3 stars. Be careful on the sizing. ... show more

Ok. For all you gentlemen out there working your butts off and needing something to hold in that extra 15-30obs, this is awesome. Not gonna lie, I get so sick of seeing these muscle men in these things in the adverts like they need anything to hold in. Ima large man. And I mean large not a little extra. And I love this. However, there is one design flaw I would beg them to fix the under arms need to come up about five inches to support the top as well as the middle. I’ve included a pic to support my claim. Let’s remember the belly isn’t the ONLY part we are working on people.. my man boobs are squishing out the sides hard enough to feed a couple toddlers here… other than that the tank top is great and supportive. ... show more

I bought the appropriate size according to the chart, and the first time getting it on took a while and a pair of pliers, but I'm sure as all these do after some regular wearing it'll loosen a bit. Just because of the struggle to get it on the first time I plan on using it more as I continue to drop weight, and then I'm sure it'll be more comfortable as a regular use garment. The TAILONG Men Compression Shirt is a very nice product. The quality is very good and seems like it would hold up over time. The only downside is the size is much smaller than I expected. It should be a bit snug but you really need to buy a size or two larger. Still worth a purchase.
