Original review kept below. I honestly want to bump them up to 5 out a of a personal preference as they've held up to 4 months of retail (probably well over a million steps as several of us average 20,000 steps a day). They're fantastically durable, especially at the price point and grew on me quickly, but the points of the original review below makes me think 4/5 is plenty fitting. Actually buying another pair soon to keep in my car in case they break. The shoes are completely without insulation and have almost no padding. Working retail, I had shoes similar to this. That's where I'm not sure if I like them or not... They change how you walk for the better, but you'll instantly feel the cold or, if you're like me and work retail, you'll feel anything you drop on a toe way more than you would expect. I took a bit to feel the shoes out and all that, and I honestly think it's a good set of shoes, just add some padding if you have sensitive feet and expect to need some time to adjust. I hated them at first, but kind of like them; the only thing I can't comment on is the durability. If they last a few months, the 4 stars are deserved.

I've been wearing these since the early 1980's. This particular shoe was only o.k. Fabric was nice, soft, without flaws. The internal liner was overly thin. Additionally, the liner was not glued in, so every time you remove the show from your foot, the liner comes with your foot. Not a good design. The outside sole is thiner than other brands. O.k for inside use only. Not outside at all.
