I'm disappointed because the style, material, and fit are otherwise very nice, but the crotch is just too far down. It looks more like how I'd expect my pants to look if the waistband was sliding down my butt, not pulled all the way up to my belly button. No matter how much I try to pull them up, the crotch of these otherwise high-quality leggings just wants to sit uncomfortably between my thighs. Because of the tightness of the fit, it creates these folds in the fabric that make it hard not to notice that the inseam ends about an inch or two below where it should be, and lifting my leg up as when walking up stairs feels awkward. Plus, there seems to be a little pocket of air that gets trapped around the crotch area and puffs out a bit? I don't know how else to describe it, but it just makes it look more obvious to my eyes that something is off. I wondered if maybe it had something to do with the fact that I'm only 5'0; the legs did have to be rolled up a bit at the ankles which I was expecting anyway. However, it looks like I'm not the first reviewer to mention the "baggy" or "boxy" crotch, and height doesn't seem to have much to do with it. In hindsight, I should've read the reviews more carefully first, but in my defense, all the ones that mention the crotch being too low are pretty buried. I don't think trying a size smaller would help since according to the size chart the difference in inseam length between small and medium seems pretty insignificant, and a small would certainly be too tight around the waist and thighs if a medium fit me just right.

I’ve been searching high and low for the leather look pants with a zipper closure. Sadly these weren’t the ones…they fit nice in my waist and length is good but the front of the pants poof out when I sit :( to much extra material I guess bc I have a flat booty. Overall good quality I was sad I had to return.

These are gorgeous fake leather pants. Unfortunately the rise on these are ridiculously high. The front rise is 12 inches and the back is 16 inches on the large. I ordered the large size because I tried one of their other types of fake leather pants and I could not get the medium up over my hips. It’s funny because I don’t even have hips. I’m 5’3” so these came all the way up underneath my bra and then some. As far as the extra material in the crotch area, I think they added extra material for women with the bigger belly. I weigh 138 lbs and these were entirely too large for my frame. The pants I received did not have the line across the front of the leg. That is normally what a real pair of leather pants would have, just FYI for those that didn’t understand why it was there.

Quality and stretch were good; however, runs small. If you’re a large, you likely need at minimum a XL, XXL if a hippier, larger backside. If your also looking for high waisted, this is not the pant style for you.
