Very well made and an awesome value. This is something you will want to pass down and take care of. I thought the case nicely stores the pieces as well. The porcelain finish seems to be flawless.

It is a cute set, and the porcelain itself seems ok, but the design is not painted and fired on in the kiln, its a decal. Eventually that will peel and come off. The case is 'ok' its soft painted cardboard, not hard laminated carboard like the old days. Mine had a big indent where the handle laid against it in shipping. So its gonna get pretty torn up with use. The decal on the case displays upright as the child carries it( see vendor photos) but when the child lays the case flat and it's facing her as she is going to open the set, the decal is facing away from her and basically upside down to her. I think the biggest bummer for me was the design was a decal. I might order the FAO Shwartz tea set and see if the painted polka dot design is fired on.

This tea set is so cute! The carrying case makes it easy to carry or store when not in use. I like that it looks and feels like a real tea set and not a toy (it is ceramic, not plastic). The media could not be loaded. This makes the perfect gift for any young girl. This tea set looks beautiful and is high quality. The case is amazing, feels nice and can properly store everything so you don’t lose anything. The tea cups and pots are great for small kids to hold and aren’t too heavy. The colors don’t fade or rub off when washed so it’s very easy to clean.
