  • Fantastic Convo Starters for ANY Situation
These are fantastic convo starters for ANY situation where you want to get the other person talking. They work for social media posts and I get about 10-30 comments when I post these. These are questions that one cannot help but have an opinion about: "What Pets Have You Had In Your Life?" , "If You Could Appear on Any Game Show, Which Would You Choose?" , "If You Could Have Front Row Seats to Any Show, What/Who Would You Want To See?" , "What Book Dramatically Influenced Your Life?" , "Who's The Funniest Person Alive?" , "What's Something On Your Bucket List?"... See? Most people have some sort of opinion about these... They're great for social media, Family/Friends Gatherings, Great to put in your Air Bnb, and just sit around and talk gatherings ... show more

  • Great conversation, starter questions
I bought these so we could get our teenagers talking at the dinner table without the use of any cell phones. Most of them are pretty fun and they do bring up different topics of conversation. We have even used them with adults.

  • Get off the screens and talk
I bought the Table Topics Original for my husband and me to get off our iPads and start having conversations while we eat breakfast on the weekends. We have been married for 27 years, no kids, with pets. Coming up with things to talk about can be hard after so many years together. He loved the idea and we have been using these since October 2024. Little did we know our friends and family would love these also. We have had multiple dinner parties where the cards have ignited lively conversations. We loved these so much we gave 3 sets as gifts. The cards come in a nice box that sits on our dining table all the time. There are 135 question so if one question doesn’t spark interest just move on. For example neither of us watch sports, so if that question comes up we briefly discuss then grab another question. In this era of loneliness it is so important to nurture connections and conversations. Give this a try. What can it hurt? You may find your relationships become closer. ... show more

  • This is a cool idea.
I have a lot to say. First, I got this to see if it would facilitate some odd, inorganic conversation with my family members. We tried it for about 30 minutes one day and only got about 6 or 7 questions in. I'm a deep thinker and can give you a presentation on the most simple, mundane topics if prompted. NONE of these questions are yes/no answers unless you make them that way. Some people on here say they blow through the questions by giving quick responses. Take some time to actually think about your response. Try to give a three minute response to everything. Explain why you feel that way, or why you don't feel another way. It's been a couple weeks since we've played and I'm still thinking about my responses to each of the questions, following up in my head with details and evidence to support what I said. This game gets you thinking, and I'd say that's the point. It's also neat to hear what other people have to say. For example, the question "Who's the most optimistic person you know?" came up and I was very surprised to hear everyone at the table say it was me. I learned something! Let's discuss the physical game, though. It's annoying. First, the box. It looks nice but takes up way more space than it needs to. Plus it's kind of hard and sharp. It was very difficult to get open, and you have to cut that cool paper wrapping (which I did delicately so I could put it back together after) in order to take it off. The box is unnecessaily large. I would have liked to just have a cardboard box containing the game. It's easy, looks nice, and is thin. The cards are cool, but you really could have fit more than one question on a card, or at least used front and back. Good idea, bad design. This is where it loses points. I might also suggest making this into a book, but I think the changing order of cards and ability to present one at a time to a group is part of the appeal. ... show more

  • Start Talking
I chose Table Topics to help me have better, more meaningful conversations with people, including my own faamily. After glancing through some of the cards, I beleive they will be helpful. The lucite box is sturdy and is a lovely container for the cards. I may get some of the other topics.

  • This is fun for the whole family
I ordered this to play with a friend who had cancer and was in end days as he was always just laying in bed. I never got to share it with him. But I put it on our coffee table at home and my family seems to pick cards out in a moments notice and we just “play at random”! It is so much fun! We took them on vacation as well. Also, this set was a very good quality. The box is heavy acrylic and the cards are sturdy . All the questions are suitable for all the family. I had no idea we’d be grabbing for these so much when I put them in the family room. A great boredom ended!! ... show more
