These pee pads are great for multiple uses. Not only has my new puppy used them, but also my bottle fed goat. We all know goats aren't potty trained, they go where they stand. Like the other reviews stated, does seem thinner than some pads you typically get at a retail store. But so far have not had any issues with leakage (I have a 30 lb dog), whatever material this is does absorb superbly. It's also not so thin that I have any concerns it will accidentally tear. I do tend to discard pad daily, so if anyone is planning on using it for many "sessions", I wouldn't be able to comment on how well it would hold up. Definitely appreciate the large size in case aim is off, lol. If any durability issues, will update.

I was surprised at how thin these pads are when I opened the package and unfolded one. Aside from being thin though, they look like every other puppy pad. The extra large 31 x 35 size is really nice. Despite the thinness, these work for my needs. Some of my cats have "elevator butt syndrome", which means that, unrelated to any medical problem or territorial behavior, sometimes while they pee they gradually raise up their butt and end up spraying urine at the wall instead of down into the litter. In order to prevent wall and floor damage, I tape pee pads to the wall behind the litterboxes. So I'm not sure how these would work for dogs, but these work perfectly well for keeping my wall and floor protected from the cats.

what can I say these out of all the pads I have bought on Amazon are the least absorbent of all. My dogs are in the house for about 6 hours, they are small so they cant hold it for very long. Never fails I come home and it leaks though the pad and onto my wood floor!!! I threw them out and went back to Target brand only.

I have a 90-pound Labrador, and he's very well potty trained, but sometimes he needs to go in the middle of the night and I got tired of getting up at 3 a.m. to take him out. So, I put a couple of wee-wee pads down for him at night, especially if he went out a little early for the last time and declined to go out again. It's hard to find good wee-wee pads for extra-large dogs, but these are excellent. They measure 31"x35" and, even though my dog's only used them once, they did a very good job with no leaks or seepage. These are a great size, and I only put two down for my dog. It's also hard to pay for extra large wee-wee pads that do a good job, but these come in a pack of 80, are reasonably priced, and a little birdie just told me there's a $10 coupon available on these right now. I've had lots of dogs all my life and am sadly very experienced in using and picking up wee-wee pads. I never set out to be the wee-wee pad queen of the world, but I've felt like I am sometimes. My Lab is a rescue, and he came to me perfectly trained, but still, sometimes he gets up and wants to go out at a totally uncivilized hour. These work great for that purpose, and I highly recommend these tough, five-layer wee-wee pads that are very absorbent, leakproof, and do exactly as they're supposed to do. I gave these five stars, and my dog gave them four paws and one tail up. It doesn't get any better than that!

If you own a Dachshund than you know potty training them is honestly a joke. They will not go out in the rain and if not offered a pee pad will simply go in the floor. If you make them mad, don't take them with you when you leave, they will go in the house. If you do not offer them a treat, or even just look at them wrong they go in your home. So I am trained now to offer up the desired pee pads. I had purchased some earlier that were too small. To cover an area that just one of these cover I had to utilize three small pads. These cover a large area and cut down on them peeing between pads. I have no clue how they accomplish that. These pads are absorbent but I can see how they may not be the best for a large dog. Luckily mine have smaller pees. They are offered at a great price. I am very happy with these pads.
