The tape is a thick, heavy-bodied tape with a tough surface cover. The tape is very sticky when applied; however, some reviewers have talked about how the edge starts to curl up outdoors which then leads to the whole section of tape coming up. In the description on the webpage, it can be seen that this is a strong tape for temporary use as it can be removed easily with no residue left behind. This tape is NOT for permanent marking. It’s easy to misunderstand that because most hazard tape is for a permanent hazard. Personally, I cleaned some epoxied concrete in my office area with isopropyl alcohol and stuck it down. It seems to be very scuff resistant and not easily peeled up from the edge even when I tried. They say that it’s removable and reusable, so I pried up a corner and pulled off the small section I had put on the floor. It came up easily (but I could tell it still had good adhesion). I then reapplied the tape in the same area. The corner I pulled up even laid down completely with only a very slight edge unsealed. Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a very good, high-quality temporary and reusable (to a certain extent) hazard tape, that could end up being permanent if you wanted it to be. This tape has good adhesion and provides an attention grabbing warning for hazards. It conforms well to slightly uneven surfaces due to its ability to stretch slightly. The first picture shows an attempt to tear the tape. I couldn't tear it, but it shows the ability of the tape to stretch. Like how electrical tape can stretch and conform to uneven surfaces, this feature will help avoid creases. With a heat gun, one can get even more manageable stretch out of the tape. Aside from this stretchiness which will not be used in 90% of applications, it is a medium thickness tape with clear coloring and a vibrant look. Not reflective for nighttime use. The corners can be peeled up with intent, but it shouldn't peel up easily if applied to a clean surface. While not as permanent as quality duct tape, it should work well for highlighting stairs, handrails, and head knockers to enhance safety and reduce liability of accidents. ... show more

This review is for the SWRT 2 Inch x 110 Foot Black & Yellow Hazard Tape Overall: 4 Stars I've been tripping over a new step in our garage and wanted something to highlight it in hopes of preventing a serious fall. I requested this tape to provide that warning. The tape is a bit thinner than expected, but adhered well to the step and hasn't come off even with a few scuffs and scrapes. The colors of the tape are vibrant (if yellow and black can be considered vibrant) and the width matches similar warning tape I've seen in factories I've visited. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this product. Just what I was looking for for this little trip hazard between the kitchen and dining room. It was easy to apply and it's bright - so far, we'll see how much foot traffic dims it. We'll also have to see well it wears, when it will need to be replaced, how easy it is to remove, and if it leaves any residue when we do. Ordered this tape to mark out in our garage to create a parking aid. The tape rolls easily and has been holding up well so far on our concrete floor. The tape is easy to peel up if needed and it has worked well for the use that we needed it for. Easy to roll on and easy to peel off as well.

I bought this tape to hold down cords for outside Christmas inflatables, and show guests on my sidewalk where to step. I live in a temperate place with no weather below 35 degrees, and not a ton of rain. This tape covered the cords well and was doing great, until- a week into it, and the tape just peeled up. We’d had no rain, and only a few visitors. If it can’t handle even mild beach weather, I don’t know where it could be used. I need to buy better tape. Just a quick rundown on this tape: 1) surface is smooth and glossy, no traction texture 2) Bright, but not reflective 3) Adhesive is effective but not overly aggressive; needs well-cleaned surface but remains reworkable. Not sure I'd recommend using it on floors, but I'm using it to dress up some heavy duty cases, a purpose to which it is completely suited. ... show more
