I got these more for nostalgia reasons than anything else. An impulse buy - I saw them and they brought back memories of my grandmother. She always had a sandwich back of them in her purse, and they were always a treat for her favorite grandchild - me! Well, these are better than the ones she used to give me. These are much softer, a MUCH better texture. And the orange flavor is much more like a real orange, not so artificial. So, a bit pricey? Yes. But worth it? Also a yes. I have gotten these orange slices several times in the 2.5 lb. package. They were delicious, nice sized, tender and coated in sugar, delightful. Then I ordered the 4 lb. package and the slices were at least twice as thick and not near as fresh tasting. I’m rather disappointed in the 4 lb. package and won’t get that size again. ... show more
