These are the best orange slices I've ever had! They have a bit of a grownup taste--more natural, not fake--perfect chewiness, never arrive hard or stale, and I can eat half a bag of them if I don't restrain myself. I've always loved this jelly candies like this, but my husband tried them and is now sneaking from my stash! I also sent a bag to my nephew, and he and my niece love them, too. For the quality, the price is very fair, IMO. I'll buy these as long as they continue to arrive so fresh and tasty. My dentist will love me if I'm not careful.

I have gotten these orange slices several times in the 2.5 lb. package. They were delicious, nice sized, tender and coated in sugar, delightful. Then I ordered the 4 lb. package and the slices were at least twice as thick and not near as fresh tasting. I’m rather disappointed in the 4 lb. package and won’t get that size again.

I got these more for nostalgia reasons than anything else. An impulse buy - I saw them and they brought back memories of my grandmother. She always had a sandwich back of them in her purse, and they were always a treat for her favorite grandchild - me! Well, these are better than the ones she used to give me. These are much softer, a MUCH better texture. And the orange flavor is much more like a real orange, not so artificial. So, a bit pricey? Yes. But worth it? Also a yes. If you want a great chewing jelly, that is very soft and flavorful, this is the one for you!

I bought the 2 1/2 lb bag this week for the 3rd time in 2 mos. The first two bags were awesome! Solid consistency but not super hard. Just a dusting of sugar and the flavor was so delicious and sweet and tart together they were truly addictive. Now this recent 2 1/2 lb bag is like a totally different candy. I don't know if this company makes their own candy or buys them from other candy makers and puts them in a bag with their company's name on it or they simply changed their recipe. This last bag tastes bad, very generic. The candy pieces are smaller than the other ones I ordered and too sweet and way to soft. The first two bags my family was eating as fast as they could grab the orange slices but this last bag no one wants them. They taste like a generic orange slices you buy at the dollar store. Im extremely disappointed. These used to be the best orange slices Ive ever tasted and very addictive! I hope this company goes back to their old recipe or buys from a different candy maker. I probably won't order again. It will be a year till this recent 2 1/2 lb bag gets eaten. If you are considering buying these , buy at your own risk. Where they used to taste like a 10+ ,now they are a 4.
