I grew up eating the jelly style black licorice which was sugar dusted (as I recall) and then ate sugar dusted black licorice teddy bears that also are no longer found in stores. As a result, I went to the Amazon. In an ideal world, it would be nice to avoid things like corn syrup and corn starch, but sometimes in the name of delicious black licorice you have to say shine it and go all in for a cheat now and then. The sack it arrives in is fancy, resealable and indicative of a gourmet candy product. The color of the beans are a true black color with a matte and shiny appearance in various parts of them. "JUMBO" is correct as they are pretty moose sized. All in all, I nice choice when I am having the craving.

Keep them in stock, please! That said, I have other licorice candy made by this company, and they are all exellent! But the jelly beans are my favorite. Thank you!!! An additional comment after these were out is stock for too long, IMHO: These are so good. I forgot how good they are- Please keep them in stock! They make such a pleasant pairing with a small glass of craft gin or a nice Chardonnay- just 4 or 5 licorice jelly beans - A treat

I bought these jelly beans a good while back, I waited fir them to come back in stock it was a long wait. They finally restocked them so of course I ordered them. The taste is not the same they tasted real real sweet so sweet I cannot eat them. What a waste of money for me. 😫
