This desk is very modern and is just enough space to fit but not take up additional needed space. I love the design and how easy it can go to the standing position to the seating… Now my advice to you: make sure you get a drill to help with all the screws (holy poop) everytime is tightened one side the other side loosened. This table was very simple to set up and easy to use. The desktop portion arrived damaged (laminate was chipped away, but was on the underside so I it didn't bother me). However the one thing that does bother me is that the laminate top scratches VERY easily. I set the 2 allen wrenches that came with the desk, on the top and while I was moving that table into the place I was going to use it (I had my fingers slightly over the wrenches so they wouldn't fall onto the floor), and when I lifted my hand, visible scratches were left. So for the money, function is good, but quality of desktop portion (which is what is visible all of the time) is poor. ... show more

The desk was missing two pieces critical to its assembly. Called the manufacturer’s customer service who said they would send a set of replacement parts. Waited two weeks and called again. Was then told that I wouldn’t be receiving the parts because everything was out of stock. I was told they would send me a new desk. It’s been another two weeks and no desk/no parts. I’ve got a half- assembled desk in my living room because I keep being told they would take care of this. When I call customer service now I receive a message that the mailbox is full. Now I get to disassemble and try to rebox the desk to return. Stay away from this product company! ... show more

When the desk was delivered the box was in poor shape with large holes in each end. I unpacked the pieces and reviewed the manual to ensure everything was there. With the wood pieces I inspected the ends to ensure they weren’t damaged, since both ends of the packing box had damage. I assembled the desk. The instructions are easy and the assembly parts are well marked to correlate to the instructions. I assembled the base, then the desktop which is made up of two pieces. At this point I noticed a 1” chip in the back of the desktop, and the top of upper desktop piece. Per the instructions, I laid the top on the ground, and aligned the base with the top. At this point I found (As others have reported), that 8 of the 10 pre-drilled holes for the mounting screws were off about 2”. Each side has 4 holes, in-line, from the front of the desktop to back. On each side the line of screws was off 2” inward. So, before you install the adhesive rubber grommets around the 10 holes as the instructions tell you, make sure the holes align with the frame. Once I realized the holes didn’t align, i removed the adhesive rubber grommets, then I measured and squared the desktop to the base. This was helped by the 2 other mounting holes aligning properly. I removed the rubber grommets, then drilled 8 new holes. If you do this, the top is thin so wrap your drill bit with tape so you have a depth indicator and you don’t drill all the way through. I reinstalled the grommets and the remainder of the assembly went easy. It seems to be a good desk, and the motor is quiet. For the price I’m still very happy with it, even after a couple of small issues. ... show more

This desk is great! The size was just what I was looking for. I love the black top. I will be offering a keyboard mat to preserve the beauty. I have three monitors on arms attached to this desk and it is very sturdy. I'm not sure about the drawer. It is fairly tall and may interfere with my legs while sitting. If your having trouble like me with your pieces not aligning it’s bc the metal piece behind it is inserted too far inside the other leg that it messes up with the holes matching. Any other parts that I I found that wouldn’t align were bc the part was facing the wrong way. Besides that it assembled nicely and works perfectly fine.
