Love this stabilizer. It's sturdy, but soft to feel. Only need 1 layer of this to do even the most dense embroidery project. Up to 30K stitches without having any issues of puckering. And it's not irritable against the skin (though the thread may be a little itchy). Also, love how it's made in the USA and not China! Will purchase again and again.

I ran into the same thing that others mentioned with this stabilizer leaving black marks on the bed of my Viking Designer Diamond®, but I just add one sheet of tear-away white stabilizer or Sulky Solvy® on the bed of my machine and no black marks. You don't even need to hoop the white tear-away or Sulky Solvy®; just place it under the hoop before you start sewing, After the embroidery is done, just tear away the white stabilizer or Sulky Solvy®(the remainder washes away). P.S. The black marks come off with Endust Electronic Cleaning Spray or 409 glass & surface cleaner (spray either only on a rag, not directly on the machine).

This is excellent strong stabilizer. Wide enough for my largest hoop, 200 x 280mm. And a really good price for the quantity. I am able to do intricate patterns on velvet with this stabilizer. I do double layer it when I’m doing something really involved, for example a detailed religious icon on velvet, with a massive amount of stitches close together, but for most jobs, one layer is fine. Really great stuff. Glad to have given it a shot.
