I have the companion books for season 1-5 so far and each one has been a great addition to the complete series dvd's. I love reading about the episodes and how they came to do what they did. I love the commintary of the cast. Jared and Jensen always have some thing cool or funny to add. Don't know what i would do with out them. ... show more

This was fun to read. Finding out what it took to make each episode was mind blowing. The acting, the special effects, the music, the writing, makeup...all of it well thought out(sometimes at the last minute) and well executed. I also enjoyed the music tidbits as well as the monster backgrounds...if you're a fan of the series, this book will make you even more so. ... show more

    • SUPERNATURAL: THE SECRETS BEHIND THE SHOW
Format: Paperback
For fans of SUPERNATURAL, this quick read is a certain plus to add to your collection. There are lots of black and white photos of the cast and the assorted creeps they encountered throughout season one. There's also a great color photo section. Each episode is discussed in detail, highlighting both the production successes and failures encountered along the way. Including plenty of insightful quotes from the cast and production staff, this book provides the reader with plenty of answers for those things you might wonder about after watching the show. My only gripe is that the font is a bit small and at times you find yourself straining to read some of the text and the "Did you know?" items that appear in shaded backgrounds. Even so, a small quibble for what is truly a keepsake and, no doubt, a one-day collector's item. Delivery by Amazon was very speedy and the books were well packaged to avoid damage. ... show more
