It does work. It is a little slow and the cable free spool must be played with to actually get free. It is powerful but again slow . Charges good time and the battery last longer than I expected. If it had a 2 or 3 speed system I would buy another. One thing I really like is as soon as your finger releases the trigger it stops it doesn't go another 2 or more inches to stop it just stops. So for what it cost it is worth the money just wish it was a little faster ... show more

    • battery operated, no cords!
i bought this to use as a hoist inside a cargo trailer, so having a battery operated winch is super nice! It works a good bit slower than a bull dog winch but then you're dealing with a cord. seems to be heavy duty and perform as advertized

    • The Super Handy winch is/does what is advertised
This is a super handy product because it is battery driven so can be used anywhere. It is powerful and does what I need it for--to pull my ultra-light up a ramp and into the trailer. The customer service is very responsive. When it appeared the battery wouldn't take an initial charge, two people responded and put a replacement in the mail, which arrived in a three days. Just want to make potential buyers aware that the picture shows two batteries, but in actuality, the second battery would be a separate purchase since it only comes with one battery.

Pulls our Yamaha SHO jetski up into our toy hauler without any issues. 24V battery lasts through several pulls up into the trailer. Stores easily. Very satisfied.
