This is a scaled down, contemporary version of the "Microtron" robot from the 1970s toy line and the later comic book series. It is not a 1:1 reproduction, so it doesn't come with interchangeable heads or custom stickers, does not require batteries, and does not tower over the other toys in the Super7 version of the Micronauts line. This is a far more posable figure than the original toy ever was, and is an amusing addition to any sci-fi bookshelf that needs brightening up. I was really impressed with its articulation and the attention to detail throughout this version of the character. Is this for everyone? Nothing really is. But if you're a nostalgist with a soft spot for imported robot toys from the late 1970s, this would make a great companion to Great Mazinga. ... show more

The fact that this even exists is pretty cool. The package art is amazing znd over all it hits that nostalgia bug. The figure in person feels a little flimsy though, and is a lot smaller than the original that it was based on.it is more in scale with the 80's 3 and 3/4" action figures. It is super articulated though. It has metal pins too. So definitely DO NOT put it in the microwave! ... show more

    • Great remake of one of my favorite toys
When I was a kid Baron Karza and his heroic counterpart Force Commander (the same figure made in white with a different head) were two of my favorite toys. Part of the Micronauts line they were made of metal and plastic and held together by magnets. They had a good weight to them and looked fantastic. I still have them today. So I was overjoyed when I got this refresh of Karza, he's a bit smaller, more in scale with other figures but more posable and has a bit of metal in him to give the figure weight. It's well made with tight joints and I just hope that Super 7 had a Force Commander planned. ... show more
