I’ve been looking for the perfect knitting bag for years and I think this is it! It’s sturdy and roomy, very stylish—not your grandma’s knitting bag. The pockets will come in handy for notions, and my phone, and I can fit a sweater or blanket’s worth of yarn in this. I think it will also come in handy when I attend professional conferences. There’s enough room for my iPad and keyboard, a thermal coffee cup, an umbrella, and a small knitting project for downtime. Finally, it looks like a great carryon travel bag to hold all the necessities for a long flight. I’m looking forward to using this bag for many things. Best of all, the price was great.

I needed a sturdy, lightweight, durable tote and this Sunshinejing Women's Canvas Shoulder Bags Retro Casual Handbags Work Bag Tote, checks all the blocks. The handles fit nicely on my shoulder and because they are cloth (not leather) they don't slip off. The canvas looks good and is soft to the touch.

Really nice looking bag, perfect for travel. Well made. The color (black) is more of a slightly faded black vs. dark black. This bag will easily hold a laptop, books, and travel essentials. Nice lining and the zipper is sturdy. I will be ordering another one….in red.

Right out of the package, these totes smell very fishy. It’s overwhelming how bad it is. I ordered 2 and both smelled the same. I sprayed them 4 times with Febreeze, then with Clorox fabric antibacterial lavender spray. It got better, but in the end, I had to wash them twice: once with the liner pulled to the outside but USE A GARMENT BAG or the liner will shred. It’s very flimsy. But they held up well in the wash on light or delicate setting. Yes the cardboard in the bottom of the bag warped some, but the bags turned out nice. For $23, they are hard to beat. Just know you will have to be willing to wash them before u use them. I would not give these as a gift due to the smell. It really was THAT bad. I do not plan to use the inside pockets, but know that they probably won’t last. The lining is soooo thin, as are the pockets. All in all, I would repurchase knowing that they will have to be washed.

This is a first day review, which I'll update if anything changes. Straight out of the package there was NO odd smell, which seems to be a problem with too many products these days. This just smelled like you would expect new fabric to smell. It's sturdy canvas, lined with a very lightweight nylon, which I hope holds up. There are a few pockets, two open and one zipped on the inside, and one open pocket on the outside. The main storage portion of the bag is large, and some of my various things I carry around would easily get lost in there, so I knew even before I bought it that I would use a smaller bag or bags inside to organize things. What I did on this first day was keep the plastic slider zip bag the product came folded up in, and I'm using that for my loose items inside the larger bag. Seems like a really simple and free solution. A little makeup bag from the drug store would work just as well. I bought this because the smallish hobo bag I bought about a year ago, thinking that I would train myself to carry less stuff around was always crammed full. I finally realized that I actually needed all that stuff, and besides, my husband frequently, when we're out and about together, will ask me to put something of his in my purse. So ... I needed more room! While this is bigger than I need most of the time, it's not so huge that it seems overly bulky. I sometimes like to be able to take my Kindle or a notepad (paper type) with me, or a book, or even a light sweater, and those would fit in this bag if needed, though all of that stuff at once would be a snug fit. I think it would hold most laptop computers. This is a high utility and not bad looking bag. I chose the gray. The main sturdiness feature is that the handles are stitched down for the full height of the bag, making them seem extremely secure. The canvas seems heavy-duty as well. I'm very pleased with this purchase for this price - $21.59 at the time I purchased.
