Mom passed just a month before she was to turn 99. The funeral urn was the only thing we hadn't purchased when making her pre-planned funeral arrangements. So, the family got to choose the urn and we settled on this one hoping we wouldn't have to return it with a funeral days away. First, the urn came a day early. We were grateful for that because we were cutting it very close to the funeral. When it arrived it was well packed and came with a black velveteen bag. We examined it and found only one slight 'touch up' on the top that no one seemed to be bothered by. It was hefty (bronze) and very solid for direct burial sans vault. It was also plenty large enough for mom's ashes (she was about 160 lbs) and we were able to place her rosary, several family photos with personal notes and two biscottis (mom was well-known for her incredibly perfect and aromatic anise Italian biscotti) inside the urn with her remains.) I had read complaints in some reviews that the urn they ordered was too small (fit for a cat), but based on what we received I'm presuming they didn't read carefully when they picked their urn. The urns come in various sizes to fit remains based on the deceased's weight as a live adult. They also offer keepsake urns (for keeping a tiny amount of ashes) which I imagine the complainer mistakenly bought instead of an adult sized urn. We bought the large adult and it was perfect. I tried to post a photo but ran into difficulty. I may try again later. Our family was very happy with the purchase. Yes, I would buy from this vendor again. Hope I don't have to because we've buried too many family members over the last few years.

The color of the vase and the silver complement each other very well. I opted to get the additional banner for the name and date. The banner is very sturdy and well made love the font, however it is not a polished piece and so it doesn't look good across the cross as pictured. We decided to put the banner on top of the lid for that reason and there was a small chip of paint missing. On the banner you get a small piece of 3m double sided tape that after a few years will probably not hold up due to the weight of the piece. I would definitely purchase from here again. very well packaged, also came with additional bag for ashes if needed.
