This dress was perfect for my daughter’s Christmas program at school. She’s a 10/12 and I ordered a 12, I could have went with a 10 because she has plenty of room and the top part is sheer and was too low which showed her bra. If I would have taken in the shoulder straps it would have been fine, but just order your child’s normal dress size and you should be fine. We just put a cute little shrug over and it was fine. It is a bit sheer, even with the layer of fabric beneath the tulle portion of the dress so she’s wore a layered petticoat underneath for that reason and to give the dress a more full look. She was sitting down right before taking the photo and I didn’t notice we needed to fluff out the back a little. She’s also is wearing a white cami underneath because the material was a little itchy without one. This is not a stretchy dress. The zipper had no issues and it layer very nicely unlike some other dresses I’ve ordered from other shops. Overall I definitely recommend this dress. ... show more

This is a beautiful dress and the longer hem in the back thrilled my granddaughter. The silver trim on bodice was a bit itchy for her around upper arm so she wears a short sleeve black t shirt under it .
