This is VERY heavy and in my opinion of good quality overall. I love that is is a very heavy, gothic looking, and antique feeling piece. The only things negative I can say is 1. I am having problems getting the candles to stay in and stay straight 2. It would seem the structure isn't exactly straight and even. (Keep in mind I am OCD and things that bug me may not be a big deal for others) when received the top of one of the arms *where the candle goes in* was loose and couldn't be turned to tightened. This was exactly what I was looking to add to my horror TV Room. It is very sturdy and high quality. Nothing cheap about this candle holder. I don't agree with some of the negative comments; arms don't stay in place, too small. The size is exactly as stated, and if you tighten the bolts, the arms stay on place. Some people don't read and execute the directions given. This candle holder makes me dream of Dracula's castle! I love it!!! ... show more

You cannot put any candles in the openings without shaving the end to fit in the irregular sized holes. Looks great, but seriously it is made for candles.. don’t you think they would make the holes to actually allow standard candle base to fit??
