I washed it before wearing on delicate setting in the washing machine and dried hanging. The color was true to pictures and the recommended size worked well for me. I’m usually size 8 but Amazon recommended M/6 and the fit was great - on a tighter side but I feel that’s what you need for this style. It felt very comfortable throughout the night. Pretty dress and gorgeous blue shade but way too long. I bought this for a party but returned it. The dress fit around the waist but the bra cup was loose on the side that wasn't held up by the shoulder. There was no way to fix the loose bra cup since I would've had to pin it, which would've torn the tulle. Because I'm pear shaped the tulle sat (unattractively) around the biggest part of my hips. The tulle added a lot of bulk and it dragged the floor. I tried it on with 3 1/2 inch heels and it was still dragging the hem. This just wasn't the dress for me although I thought it was very pretty and would work for someone taller and who could afford to get it hemmed. ... show more

Fits perfectly! Exactly as measurements describe! Love how the side with no strap has fabric that will "stick" to the skin keeping it in place! (Not really stick, but keeps it from moving). Absolutely loved this dress, it was too big in the large, so I ordered a small as it was sooo big, but that was too small, so I then ordered a medium thinking that would be perfect, but no, that one was too small too.
