It will sit on the shelf
It's great for the kid at heart. They were stretchier when we were kids, but times have changed. The fun factor is pretty low, I mean seriously, now long can you pull his leg? If you like nostalgia, but it. If you are looking to keep your kid busy for hours - get 'em a job.

Great Christmas Gift for Father and his almost 12 year old.
This is a great toy! My 40-year-old son will get a kick out sharing with his 11-year-old one of his favorite childhood toys. Also giving the DVD "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" with Ben Stiller, that highlights Stretch. Sweet movie about believing in oneself, imagination and adventure.

Stretch Armstrong is heavy.
I like stretch Armstrong overall. I got him for my grandson who will be 3 in a couple of months. He has a lot of energy and stretching this doll makes for some heavy work for him.
