Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by curious droids and dangerous creatures. See the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment in playful ways. Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this mysterious world.Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12. • Awesome game for kids and adults!
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
I wish I could give it an extra star! I got this game to play with my 7yr old son. We both loved it. This RPG is has an awesome atmosphere, with a great story. You play as a lost cat who befriends robots, in a post-human world, who desire nothing more than to be able to escape their underground city and see the outside world. The game is kid friendly but some parts maybe scary to younger kids. I love that this game is wholesome with no political agenda woven in. At the same time, it is super fun and definitely has it’s RPG challenges. This game will be a classic in my opinion and I’m hoping for a future sequel. ... show more

  • It’s new!
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
The plot of this game was so unique, I loved it. Be warned, the cat can be killed by the bad guys, so if you can handle that it’s not for you, I did cry. The plot will tug at your heart too, but it’s worth it to get the cat home in the end. 10/10 I beat it in a week. Very addictive.

  • Entertaining
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
Entertaining game. You can purchase from a local game store store, or directly from a small shop retailer and avoid lining the pockets of billionaire Bezos.

  • Terrific atmospheric environmental design, and unexpected poignancy
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
You're a cat, separated from your group. You're lost in a decayed, seemingly abandoned city. Because you're a cat you can only jump, run, meow, bite, and scratch on things, and with these limited skills you explore the environment. Eventually you find you're not entirely alone, and you even acquire an ally of sorts. The city holds mysteries to unravel, spaces to explore, puzzles to solve, enemies to avoid, and stories to discover as you make your way. This is a charming game, with terrific atmospheric environmental design, and unexpected poignancy. Much of it is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace, though sometimes moving as quickly as possible is the best option (if you want to survive!). Filled with fascinating detail - in many ways all that detail to explore IS the heart of the game, so adjust expectations accordingly. ... show more

  • Best Video Game I’ve Played
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
I honestly think this is the best video game I’ve played in a while, it is so much fun and I recommend playing it. The best part of the game is that you get to roam as cat in future Tokyo or Korean cities or China

  • Awesome graphics and story
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
Stray is not a game about a cat so much as it is a game in which your character happens to be a cat. It takes place in a future dystopian world populated by robots. The graphics and story are among my favorites from any game I've played. Be advised that Stray is very short, which is my only disappointment with it. If Stray cost $70 like most current games, I would have taken off a star, but for $30 it is a definite 5 stars for me. I liked the game so much that, after purchasing and playing it on my PC when it first came out, I bought the Xbox version again so that I could play it on my big screen TV and sound system. ... show more

  • Absolutely Adorable Game
Platform For Display: Xbox Series X
One day I was just browsing around the Xbox store looking at the massive sales. When I saw this and watched the trailer, I purchased it in a heartbeat. As an animal lover (especially dogs and cats), it really struck a chord. The graphics are so lifelike you almost forget that it’s CGI. I love how you basically make the kitten jump and even meow. It’s cuteness overload. Overall, it’s a great game that doesn’t overwhelm all that much. There are some challenges but they’re not so bad that you “rage quit.” Might be helpful to refer to a few online guides/walkthroughs if you want to unlock the online achievements. But if you love cats, this is a game for you!! ... show more
