  • Holds more than I thought it would
I could not believe that this plastic would hold all our skis and snowboards, but it does a wonderful job. It was easy to install, and very sturdy.

  • It's good for what it is...
If you're looking to save money and get a basic rack... And I mean basic.. Then this is definitely the rack for you. I didn't want to pay a lot for some of these racks. I just wanted to get my two pair of skis and one snowboard a place to be out of the way in the garage. This rack does exactly that. It does NOT have a lot of room between the levels, and does take some maneuvering to get it all to fit... And be careful, because I moved the middle set of skis, and my board came off the top part onto my head... Because my ski binding pushed it up off the rack. In spite of all that, it does exactly what I need. And now I know to be careful when moving any of them. Pros: Price Easy to install with included hardware. Does what it's supposed to do Cons: Only comes 4 wall anchors, even though there are 8 mounting holes. (it does hold the rack, but states "if you want more security, use all mounting points") Thin plastic - treat it gentle and it will last. Not enough space in between levels. Overall, for what the product is, I give it 5 stars. If you want a solid, heavy duty rack, this IS NOT it... But you'll pay a lot more for that. If you're looking for something easy to put up, and don't want to invest, this is perfect. It will definitely do the job I need it to. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for, and for $20 this does the same trick..
As others said, it’s really made for two boards. For $20 you can’t go wrong, but I had to do some “doctoring” on the angle for the kids wake board due to the curve and fin made it want to jump off the wall if you sneezed by it. Maybe some day I’ll buy the $100 version, but this serves the purpose.

  • I received the rack yesterday afternoon and installed it in ...
I received the rack yesterday afternoon and installed it in no time. I would have given the product four stars where it not for the misleading depiction of a three board storage capacity. The only way you will get three boards on this rack is by removing the bindings. Seeing as most of us don't tend to have snowboarding workshops built-in to our homes, I think the company would do well to clarify this fact. I have three boards to hang and had chosen this rack instead of choosing the flat wall hanging stoppers. Given the opportunity, I would have gone for one the alternative options. Another issue is that the material used and the length in the actual extending arms renders the boards somewhat unsteady once mounted. In short, I am not filled with confidence in the product and it has not met my expectations. The company's effort to depict three boards on the rack (albeit at closer inspection one might argue that one of the boards is missing a set of bindings) is misleading and I think they would do well to change and/or remove the image altogether. The price range is okay once you realise that which you thought was cheap is a reflection of the quality of materials used. I give this 3 stars merely because I managed to make it work, otherwise it would have received 2 or less from me. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Looks like the photos and works as intended. Claims that there is not enough space are overblown. Each unit can hold up to 3 boards comfortably. Note that you may have to arrange or "stagger" the gear such that the bindings do not interfere with each other.

  • Works but seems fragile
Not as sturdy of plastic as I’d prefer

  • Does the job
Others complain about the flimsy plastic. It is flimsy on a side-to-side basis, but it provides the up-and-down strength that is necessary to hold your gear (which is most relevant). I found the wall studs and installed this in 5 minutes, and it works fine. Two issues to be aware of.. the thickness of your gear and the width of your snowboard.. I made this work with 1 snowboard and 2 sets of skis. The board HAD to be on top since the bindings needed the clearance. My snowboard is also NOT a wide-sized board. If it was, I question whether it would be too wide to properly fit (i.e. it might fall out). The two sets of skis are thick and have big bindings - and to make them fit, I had to skew the skis a bit so the bindings would fit in there. In other words, the clearance for each piece of gear is a bit tight, especially if you're trying to get 3 things in there, and they are thick items. But overall, for the $20 pricetag, it's a good item. ... show more

  • Okay
After we installed it, it is an excellent buy and my boards are out of the way....however you need to screw it in on every side and they only give you 4.... you need 8! You also need a freakishly long Phillip's head to screw it into the wall, you can't get your hand close because of the proximity to the rack so I thought that was a dumb design....the instructions say you need a #3 but that's wrong it was too big...You can buy it just be prepared to be crafty and flexible during install ... show more
