It’s relatively easy to install, but the hardware (plastic-ware) is very flimsy. Even if you drill into studs (which I did) the connection/fit between the screws and frame is very weak. You just slide the very flexible plastic frame directly onto the screws themselves. If it’s just one board, it’ll probably be fine. But I have 2 boards and 1 set of skis (2/3 of them are very lightweight backcountry setups) and I don’t plan to keep this for long, or even walk beneath it. Can’t recommend this product. Consider the likely risk of it falling—on a person or the floor—and make your call. I’ve got >$2k of gear up there so it’s my fault for going cheap. ... show more

Well, they do hold up the boards. Made from very flimsy plastic that likes to flex, but *should* hold the snowboards. No padding on the support arms, so it may scratch your wax job. Support arms are short and leaving me to wonder if the boards are going to fall off. If I were to do it again, I would spend a bit extra for a better set of wall mounts. ... show more

Important to note that this does not store mutiple boards with bindings attached. The space between boards isn't high enough, but it would work great if you have just boards or skis without bindings. Install should have been easy but the angle in which you need to get to the screws is pretty awkward. But of brute force needed. I returned in the end. ... show more

The installation for this is pretty messed up. The angle at which you have to screw this in pretty much means you have to have a 90 degree screwdriver or you’re not going to get this done. Even with a 90 degree screwdriver, the angle at which the screws must be used makes applying pressure to the screw very difficult. This has been the perfect way to hang our gear. I was worried it would be cheap since it is plastic but it is super sturdy. 3 boards with bindings hang on it and I threaded a shower rod through the bottom whole so the helmets and gloves had something to hang on as well. 5 out of 5!
