My husband is super picky about his shoes, and this is literally the only shoe he has found that he likes. They last him six months exactly, and for the last few years, we've purchased them every July and December (his birthday and Christmas) to replace the old ones. I wear these shoes everyday, but I wouldn't recommend it. The soles are not very thick and I have found them to be less than comfy after wearing them for too long. I also find that they dot shield your feet much from gravel/rocks, etc. I would also recommend praying them down with scotch guard or some sort of sealant because they allow moisture to seep through very easily. Went walking outside after a storm and the wet grass soaked through the material of the shoes. All that being said, the fit was on point, and they look great. My boyfriend really likes these shoes. They're stylish, comfortable, and come at a great price. He wore them during our week long vacation in Mexico. My boyfriend usually wears Aldo shoes and these are just as good and less expensive!

After three weeks of starting to use this shoe (bought in November on Black Friday, started to use in April), it developed a large tear. And, overall, the quality of this shoe feels weak, like the fabric is going to separate from the sole in a matter of weeks. I reached out to Steve Madden customer support, and they told me to contact the retailer instead of standing by their product and helping me correct this directly with them. What kind of brand does that? They have the opportunity to help me fix the issue directly, but instead, want me to go back to Amazon (where because it's past the return window I don't expect help.) I've contacted other shoe brands where e.g. the toe developed a hole in my kid's shoe after 6 months, and they helped me directly with a credit. But Steve Madden? No, you are on your own. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for as a “dress sneaker”. They looks great and fit well. They are slightly narrower than most shoes so if you have wide feet I wouldn’t recommend them for you.
